Elder Titan - I'm really looking forward to see this Hero played in the off-lane: he can be a good initiator like Clockwerk if you know how to abuse the fog of war and high grounds (since you need to get very close), or simply a teamfight Hero that combos well with a lot of big ultimates ( Black Hole, Song of the Siren, Overgrowth and so on). His ultimate is strong even at level 6, so he doesn't need many levels.

Centaur Warrunner - I don't see him as a viable pick, not in this meta at least: his role would be the same as Magnus without the Empower buff; his ultimate is an interesting initiation ability though. As he doesn't have enough potential to be a good carry we could see him as a very rare mid pick, but I doubt it.

Troll Warlord - I personally don't like him, he's a glass cannon without escape mechanisms: Weaver is safer for teamfights, Alchemist hits faster and other Heroes either push better ( Lone Druid and Juggernaut on top of the list) or don't need his ultimate to do so ( Nature's Prophet and Anti-Mage). He could be used for mid-game pushes, but he needs to fit a very particular role in a pushing team.

Abaddon - I love him, finally a durable support with little mana problems! His skills, though, are outclassed by Treant Protector which does the same things in a better way: Living Armor is better for early tower dives and is also global; Leech Seed, without considering the lower range, also heals and slows; the ultimate is less "selfish" and combos well with many other Heroes. Still, Abaddon could be a choice for aggressive trilanes playing a semi-support role since he scales better with items than Treant; he's also way more flexible.

Abaddon and Chieftan already popped up in the Asian scene between FD and AMD
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick

Abaddon and Treant Protector supporting Weaver creates an invincible hero that can't be stunned or harrased effectively. Ultimate tower diving!

I agreed with your statements except for this one, Peppo. Troll Warlord is what his name implies, a troll. Sure, late game he won't stack up against Anti-Mage, but a majority of heroes can't regardless. His entire mechanics are based upon the idea that once someone engages you, their life becomes a living hell.

You mentioned his lack of an escape mechanism. Well, I could argue that he has two, both being the whirling axes. An ability which a lot of teams underestimate his Whirling Axes (Melee), which gives great initiation damage, and a very crucial 60% miss chance for 4 to an upgraded 7 seconds. Also, Whirling Axes (Ranged) gives a 30% movement slow with a casting range of 900... sure, it's no Shukuchi, but that's pretty legit.

Combine those skills with a chance of bash, and an ult that synchronizes fantastically with any sort of right click hero ( Enchantress, Sniper, Gyrocopter, etc), and you're looking like a pretty tempered glass cannon.

As a recent example, Kaipi's SingSing played Troll as a mid hero against a Puck in a Bigpoint Battle match.
"I'm like a hunter of peace. One who chases the elusive mayfly of love... or something like that." - Vash the Stampede

Centaur Warrunner won't see any play. He has to get too close to do too little damage. Small contribution to team fight. Weak damage aoe stun, and his ult is horrible now.

Troll Warlord Won't see play either. No contribution to team fight. Weak lane presence. Needs extremely strong stunners to effectively lock a hero down in fights and do sufficient damage.

Abaddon may see small play. He's durable, but a melee so he can't be played as support. The melee slot for most teams is taken up by Naga right now, so they can't afford it and he doesn't fit into any other roles. His shield is one of the best spells in the game though as far as mana efficiency and cooldown.

Elder Titan can be a great off laner, especially if you're doing an aggressive tri lane. He's pretty formidable 1v1 short lane, and even vs tri lane he's incredibly hard to kill. Using spirit to scout, and even if you're jumped on, most players will blow stuns immediately for a gank. After stuns on are CD you're free to stomp with no interruption and get away. He was a very strong pick up in DotA 1 and I see him continue to do so in DotA 2 eventually.

Buugi mid as Troll in Starladder! Let's see what happens! My prediction: Not good. :D

Edit: FB ON SF?! DD SPACECOW SO STRONG. Playing troll ultra well. First item PMS with pooled regen and a gank on SF lvl 3 is very... very... very sad news. Gotta babysit that SF for like 20 minutes guys! :D

If you didn't see it: Radiant with troll AND Avernus won.

Radiant
Bot Venge SB
Mid Troll
Top Avernus Weaver

Dire
Top Luna Bane
Mid SF
Bot Clock
Jungle Enigma

Pretty much a roll. 22-9 at the end, and never got a good BH off because of Venge (Who went carry with drums and BKB). SF died at level 3 against an aggressive troll who took SF's hill and blew hands on creeps. SB charged with DD for FB and no TP's because it was too early for supports to afford them. Against SB you should typically skip an additional item for a TP if you have a vulnerable mid like that...

The Radiant team (Menance) is now 5-2 in the tournament I believe. The Dire team (Uebelst) is 0-7.
