I am quite new to DotaFire and when I read guides, they are people who have the words Editor and Veteran under their names? Is there a meaning for it?

For example: Nubtrain <Veteran>

Ancient Hero <Editor>

These are the rankings of the user. For instance I myself have a moderator tag, meaning that I am of the moderator rank. Nubtrain is a user who has been on the site for awhile and contributed a large sum of helpful posts. Ancient Hero is an editor, which is a member of the site entrusted with the power to edit the descriptions and stats of items, heroes, and abilities on the site. Only those of higher status than moderators are of the power to change the tags of users.
