Imo you should get Armlet first if your farm is ok. I like to start pick games with 4 gauntlets. maybe ship some tangos with the courier and go straight for the helm of iron will.

if you get your armlet with lvl 6 you are basically unkillable if you dont get stunned in a bad situation (you can armlet juggle very well since all atack speeds are still slow and easy to anticipate) its also funny to get armlet first with bristle, as he is also basicly unkillable if enemys lack a stun (and dont gank yout with too many).

what im trying to say is get armlet first with great farm = most dmg output and tankyness

Treads first if life sucks in your lane

HotD first if its a hard lane and you want to be able to leave it and jungle.
