What do you mean with competitive guide? Something like Null Talisman- Phase Boots- Force Staff? I'm currently working on a Bounty Hunter guide which I almost finished, but as my next week isn't as full of stuff to do as the other ones I could write about either Zeus or Tidehunter.

I prefer Arcane on him on most situations because he's a very spammy hero, but yeah. He's been used here and there in a competitive sense, I saw him a few games ago in the Star Ladder too. He was actually doing so well with his team that he was trolling around with an Agh's Refresher.

I still prefer Phase Boots because I usually go on heavy autoattack damage, and a bunch of Null Talismans (which also give mana regen) solve your mana problems better than a pair of Arcane Boots in my opinion.

Anyway, I've just found the Zeus match you're probably talking about and I'm going to watch it.
