PL outcarries him, Void outcarries him, Tiny outcarries him, Terrorblade outcarries him, Lone Druid outcarries him, Medusa and Spec do in teamfights (but not 1v1). He's like, way back there bro.

He brings utility, and isn't item dependent. You listed 5, so you're saying he's the 6th or were those examples?
oh yea i totally for got do you guys remember before they changed lifestealer on dota 1 and he could get 145% life steal? or was it 125% any how totally funny 4 k health and hitting for 600ish and healing like 700-900 ish each hit really funny but i still say axe with 6 hearts his return thing works while under all cc's i believe
to be honest i think if u replace gold with kllls it would shadow fiend ive seen his ulty pull 9k when superfed and refusing to push lol.
but under the circumstances axe u give him 5 hearts and he can walk over any one
Just about any carry with full items could walk over an axe with 5 hearts. Especially Lifestealer...
Edit: And maximum Damage you can get from Shadow Fiend's ultimate is about 2000 damage, if they're standing right on top of you when your ulti goes off. His ulti has a cap on souls, so even with a lot of kills is comes down to a gold advantage, not soul.
I'd probably put troll in top 10, because he reaches full potential much faster. Also, he can end the game very quickly with insane push - just like how lycan managed to make it so far.
versatility is also worth a lot, I think, possibly more than just pure 1v1 killing power.
hmm I am kind of shocked I have not posted on this thread yet.
In my humble opinion there are three God caries: Anti Mage, Faceless Void , Specter All thee share the rank of best because each has its own situation were it shines.
Anti mage is good because: good on a mobile team, can not really gank him, good vs casters, out of the God Three comes online first but is weakest
Specter is good because: Good on a ganking team, has some early game with Desolate (yes you max this first it is amazing) , has better team fight than AM but worse then FV. Largest EHP (Effective health points). Comes on line later than Anti Mage but faster than Faceless Void.
Faceless Void is good because: Good on a team fight team. All 4 skills scale. Comes on line latest but strongest so if you are playing vs a faceless void with one of the other two you have a small window to win.
I would like to give special mention to two other heros Doom and Lone Druid
Doom is VERY situational but he is good because: He is good on a DoT team (damage over time). Comes online faster than Anti Mage because of his scary gold farming power 100 gold every minute is crazy.
Lone Druid is an odd case: He is good on a pushing team. With 12 Item slots he is the best "Theoretical" cary. However since he peaks after Faceless Void and Void peaks at like 60-65 min you will probably never see him at max power.
When choosing a cary you have take into account your team. Since you want your team to peak at the same time match the point were your supports fall of with the time caries go crazy.
All this information is referring to 5 vs 5 scrims. ANY hero can cary and any hero can get an advantage early. I once played a game were we should have lost but our Dazzle got crit for a joke and won it for us.
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.
