I'd make GIMP tutorials, but I never used it :(. You can visit MOBAFIRE, they got some nice GIMP tutorials that will help you.

This was looking a little bare so I asked some of the mobafire artists who submitted tutorials if I could copy them over to here. I will edit the post to put in tuts whenever someone gives me permission. :)

Also hades, shouldn't your tutorial go under "special effects"? :P
