Hello,

I have been playing dota 2 for about 3 months now and would like to begin playing on a competitive level. My basic skill have been improving (such as last hitting) however I feel I am lacking in higher level skills, like map movement/awareness, team fight positioning/initiation, situational item/skill builds etc, which is preventing me from playing on a competitive level. I also know my early game laning needs work. I would really appreciate anyone who would be willing to play a few games with me and help me learn the skills necessary to advance my skills to the next level.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can add me. Steam: pds1995. If I'm ever on we can play together and I'd be glad to give you some pointers.

well, it seems like you already know on what you should improve next which is your map awareness and positioning. it takes practice and experience to do that, i don't think anyone will be able to fully help you with that. Maybe the positioning but not map awareness. IMO, don't go to competitive too fast, it's good to enjoy the game as much as possible without having to worry what is the right thing to do.

My best advice is to just keep playing, that way you will get better and be able to learn and self-teach yourself, which is always better than reading something and trying it, failing horribly.
