nothing really that great, but it was fun messing with this ursa and lycan.

awesome venge with nice swaps and rubick had fun stealing spells.

i forgot 80% of what happened during the match though, so i couldn't recall why we were able to beat them even though both lycan and ursa got bkb, tide got gem and kelen's dagger.

Fairly impressed considering they were apparently in a group. Might watch the replay sometime.

Two Vladmir's Offering and Venomancer's build show how smart they were.

Just basic pub players, they don't know what's happening.

They could win easily with their picks.

Still impressive, although along the lines of what hades is saying, we have no way of knowing how good your opponents are.

yeah, they were typical pubbers. we only had trouble with ursa and lycan because they're ursa and lycan. the rest were really not a problem. aside from tide's ulti.

The worst part about pubs against Ursa and/or Lycan is when the other members of their team getting carried start smack talking and acting like they actually had a meaningful impact on the game. Ursa and Lycan are cheeky bastards to be sure, but they're not THAT bad. Its the unwarranted self-importance that the rest of their team gets because they're facerolling their way to victory by hiding behind them that really grinds my gears. Its always some obnoxious support like WR or CM who land a couple random, lucky disables that let Lycan/Ursa get a kill or two. The Lycan and Ursa themselves never say a word in my games, its like the player behind them doesn't even exist and they're purely concentrated lols/noob rage meant to make you feel bad about yourself.

I hate playing Lycanthrope more than Ursa. Ursa often gets overconfident in his abilities. I just took rosh now I go win the game is basically what I think they are telling themselves. If you even let him rosh, I try to ward that spot and the subsequent support spots his team will likely travel to help him once they realize we just killed their only hope. With the overconfident Ursa its pretty simple, a chain stun or someone frosty like Crystal Maiden will separate him from team and he is destroyed. Lycan however is so annoying. A glimpse Disruptor is the best way to keep him from diving and make sure he knows that he can be called back anytime to his certain death.

I find Lycan becomes more of a problem later game than Ursa, as Lycan has his wolves, and his speed is phenomenal in ult mode with all things considered. Ursa relies on pure strength and speed of attacks in a small window mainly, but once you get away from him or stack team stuns and give a bit of concentrated fire an Ursa can quickly be destroyed. Obviously if you let either of them farm up over your team's levels then you are going to struggle regardless. But their builds weren't amazing, and their team composition could have really carried the game for them, but they were obviously not that great.
