I'm a big believer in not being "forced" in to a particular build from the start but with lone druid you obviously have to start with the bear before pointing spirit link
Idea: Lone druid and the Bear are practically two separate heroes.... wait... maybe they are two separate heroes?
But the question is... why can't I chose the bear and not druid first?
Maybe that's because they are suppose to be a pairing of bear and druid as a single hero pick...
What this would mean: Bear starts along side lone druid from the start
How do you make it work?
It's actually simple as hell...
The stats for the bear that starts along side lone druid:
Bear HP: 800
Bear HP Regen: 4
Bear Base Attack Time: 1.85
Bear Armor: 2
Bear Movement Speed: 320
It's all the obvious stats that the bear would have if he was scaled back a level....
Now change "summon spirit bear" to "summon greater spirit bear" because it is just simply always replacing the previous one....
This allows lone druid to play properly situational or by the aim of his philosophy from the start
If the bear feed from the start is a problem then change the bounty for the bear to
The obvious problem with Lone druid though is that the bear does not share the neutral item slot with druid... but also with the option to overwrite the bears neutral item slot with a different item...
It would buff Lone Druid the wrong way.If this change happens, then he can pick one rune with the bear and pick the risk one with Savage Roar.I see where you coming from, but it is not like Lone Druid has many options anyway.
It would be like give Naga Siren Illusions the ability to pick runes.
It's hugely time to talk about how "out of perceptual whack" lone druid really is in his latest make over....
Take chen for example....
If chen steals a ranged creep then from the start he is doing (49 + 31 = 80 damage) right off the bat
Lone druid with his bear is doing (40 + 20 = 60 damage) with his bear
This is a 25% advantage in starting potential that chen has over lone druid from the start
Keep in mind that before the lone druid "make over", lone druid had a roar ability that gave him bonus damage
What are possible solutions to this?
1. Give lone druid a chance to knock neutral items out of creeps upon attack because in his new form, he not only has all him and his bear's item slots to fill but ALSO THE NUETRALS
2. Buff him or his bear or both of their damage because a 60 damage lone druid and bear combo compared to an 80 damage chen and ranged creep combo is perceptually UGLIER THAN A JUMBO SHRIMP WITH VARICOSE VEINS!
3. Bonus damage for bear after so many creep kills with bear?
Please fix the broken, thank you...
The most basic sensible solution seems to be to allow players to point their talent tree first also.... he would start with the +200 life choice virtually every time....
