We are happy to announce the winners of our Hero Creation Contest!

While looking through all the hero concepts that posted by our community, we've realized how creative our members can be and what awesome and fun hero concepts they can craft! Picking the winners from all these unique submissions has been a tough task, but here are the best IceFrogs of this edition:

Grand Prize Winner (Bladeform Legacy Bundle)

midget_spinner

Congratulations to our grand prize winner, midget_spinner, the author of Lorev, the Spacewalker, the best concept of this edition! They will receive the Bladeform Legacy Bundle for Juggernaut. Huzzah!

Positioning both her allies and her enemies in space and time, the Spacewalker is a master crowd controller. Mastering the art of space fabrication, she can easily traverse the battlefield while wrecking havoc along her path. Possessing prowess which can both save her allies from impending doom or bring death itself to her enemies, the Spacewalker is literally, a force to be reckoned with.

Runner Ups (Fall 2016 Treasure IV)
Congratulations to our runner ups, who submitted some awesome hero concepts. There is some incredible creativity in these concepts and they're worth taking a look at.

FangzofFuzzy - The Demon Scout
The Demon Scout is an Agility hero who finds his home ahead of allies and within enemy lines, lurking around and surveying the area before unleashing Hell on earth. Shadow Tag is his primary initiation and only combat tool, allowing him to lock down a target and direct his team to focus fire. Gaze gives him some unique area control as a roamer, able to remove enemy vision and safeguard himself from being collapsed on. Penumbra's movement speed ensures that the Demon Scout won't be easily pinned down while its cast range allows him to flank from creative angles, as long as he is doing his duty of being a lone scout. Once the zone is clear and a target has been selected, The Second Wave may bring about the enemy team's peril. With Demons ravaging the land and an ominous Abyss watching over the Scout that started it all slips back into the shadows, it's difficult to believe that Hell's conquest has only just begun.

lonelyfreak - Technomancer, Kybur
Kybur the Technomancer is a ranged Intelligence hero who is able to fulfill the roles of Initiator, Nuker, Durable and Disable thanks to his diverse range of abilities. In the offlane he can take quite a bit of punishment without having to back up, this is due to his passive damage reduction. He can also control the creep equilibrium with his Secondary Rift, holding his creeps back or pulling enemy creeps behind his tower making him a really strong presence in any lane. He benefits from the solo experience quite well since his skills are strengthened by one another (his Dimensional Surge and Dimensional Leak do damage based on his Transdimensional Armor). However, if he's bullied out of the lane, he's out of luck since his kit does not provide the same opportunities in the jungle as it does in lane. That is why he would be a great roaming support, any lane he goes to he provides excellent ganking opportunities as well as the aforementioned creep equilibrium control.

Terathiel - Sabellan, the Torseron Inquisitor
Sabellan is a powerful spellcaster who, while initially appearing fragile, has an immense amount of spell lifesteal that, in combination with Leshrac-rivalling area damage, sustains him in fights and makes him extremely effective against summons, illusions, and clones. Damaging him through his spell lifesteal is an almost insurmountable task; timing disables properly is key to playing against him. Note that his durability scales, as Electric Disposition provides lifesteal from items such as Mjollnir, or Monkey King Bar. Of all the lanes, Sabellan is best suited to the middle one. Lightning Weld and Shock Nova allow him to nuke waves and establish rune control, and Electric Disposition enables him to trade hits and dive the tower for kills. However he is also vulnerable due to low base movement speed and health. This means that, if Electric Disposition can be baited out, he will be easily ganked and shut down.

Yzreel - Omniscience the Omniscience
Omniscience is a ranged Intelligence hero that is best at nuking and disabling his enemies. His true strength, however, lies in the myriad of debuffs he can throw in a team fight, especially his ultimate that can turn the tides of battle in one fell swoop. Although team fights is his forte, it would be perilous to underestimate his ganking ability, albeit the ultimate has a long cooldown early on, used properly it can almost always net some kills by playing with your own debuffs. His other strength lies in the ability to “scout” the battlefield with scan-like abilities, but the key of his gameplay is in initiative. This is due to the fact that his skills, although seriously strong, is terrible in defending himself due to the drawbacks, and even his strong ultimate requires a Heavenly Portal to have been opened (meaning a skill must have been used already).

Dubey - The Cheshire Cat
The Cheshire Cat is a melee Intelligence hero that can fulfill the roles of support and initiator. His first ability, Madness, enables him to harass enemy heroes while forcing them to get out of position. Enemies can either tank the damage from Madness or get sight of The Chesire Cat and have the damage removed but a slow applied instead. Phasing Claws is his second ability, a very unique skill that gives The Chesire Cat bonus pure damage and also true strike while in Wonderland. Moving on to the core ability of this hero, Little Door, an ability that opens a door to Wonderland, where The Chesire Cat is greatly slowed but protected as long as he stays inside. Wonderland can be left when the duration of the Little Door expires or early using Return to Reality. And finally, his active ultimate ability "Come Play With me" this enables The Chesire Cat to drag an ally or enemy hero through the Little Door, where both will be greatly slowed.
