Hmm, could work, but Tinker is better as a pusher, but it isn't a bad idea, can help many situations.

True, but with boots of travel, you could instagib the any hero pushing your tower. Even though Tinker's normal spells are already really strong, then 1600-2400 damage seems very good.
I think Dagon is situational at best on almost all champions.
For Nukers like Zeus, Tinker, etc there are sheepsticks, Eul's, Orchid, things like that.
Dendi actually had dagon on tinker in one of "The Defense" games. Blinked in, rearmed, dagon, blink, rearm, dagon, rearm dagon blink out of base. It was awesome
there was a time in wc3 dota, where we put dagon on crows.
dagon early on tinker actually helps you in ganking. one combo and a hero is dead.
it's better to have dagon before BoT so you have can have more kills and when you have BoT it's just tp, missile, laser, dagon, bottle, rearm, tp, rearm, tp, laser, missile, dagon, bottle, rearm, tp, rearm, tp...should be rushed though. so you're still a bit at the laning phase.
