You might have a valid point because a strength caster who does good magic damage and goes all stat might negate the % magic damage reflect capability, dominate the block with high damage hits, etc.

Therefore, change the % magic damage reflect to pure damage, not the same value of the magic damage, and still pay a proper proportion of mana for it.

On the other hand, what if strength on an intel hero didn't add raw physical damage but instead converted their magic damage to pure damage by a percentage and the reflect stayed magical but was also converted of that percentage to pure from strength.

Kind of meh

Makes huskar totally hard carry number1.
Burning Spears stack infinitely and I will be abusing that hero in ranked.

Are you thinking that huskar would be stacking pure damage with magic damage? no no no

Remember, we are talking about strength on an intelligence hero...

If huskar gets intelligence, he gets mana pool and % magic resistance that has to diminish stack on his already magic resistance skill

I find this to be very interesting actually since haskar is a ranged strength and I was concerned about the ranged heroes and the melee heroes in this rework I'm proposing.

The equilibrium of the counter system....

Strength > Agility > Intel > Strength is going on to a degree in the game, however, there isn't really any heroes I'm aware of that are capturing their prime concept completely, although would not necessarily be broken if the values were small and spread.

With the proposed changes there would be the counter system already going on to a very minor degree, and then much more depending on the amount difference between the enemy's certain stats and your own certain stats. All stats would be funneling more towards a break even.

Block is the prime counter to attack speed, so intels are not inferior to the agilities in that regard.

Agilities don't go for magic resistance but they could go bkb against intels, I would say that the pure damage conversion would pierce spell immunity, only the pure damage.

The key intels like skywrath who get scaling damage on his q and lower resist would be rushing solar crest. skywrath with solar crest rushed is the primary counter to many agility heroes at that point.

I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes you think the intelligence heroes would be at a disadvantage to the agility and strength heroes here.... I mean, that is my main aim when talking about the crit vs evasion issue and such...

*deleted everything*

*How about this complete rework*

Strength:

Strength, Increases life pool and magic resist

On Agility, increases life pool, magic damage absorbed to mana raw amount, amount absorbed is a raw amount like a block.

On Intelligence, increases life pool and converts their magic damage output to pure

Agility:

On Agility, Increases attack speed, armor on agility, armor reduction to enemy attacked by intel standard attack, and only for the attacker, changed attack speed to block for intel.

On strength, increases movement speed and provides an increasing return damage from raw attacks

Intelligence:

On Intelligence, increases mana, returns a percentage of physical raw attack damage back at the enemy as magic damage, proportional mana cost applied. When cast at with magic damage, the magic damage and the magic returned cancel each other out, intel takes less damage over all but for a mana cost, like a mana shield.

On Agility, increases mana pool, increases cast rate

On Strength, increases mana pool, adds magic damage to attack where amount is payed in proper proportion to mana cost, when used in attacking an intelligence hero who reflects magic,
The magic damage from the attack and amount of magic damage reflected cancel each other out.
Block will block the magic damage.
*

What can be said about this model?

Even though Strength > Agility > Intelligence > Strength is accurate

Agility gets Strength to beat intelligence

Intelligence gets agility to beat strength

Strength gets intelligence to beat agility

When agility gets intelligence against intelligence there is nullification

when strength gets agility against agility there is nullification

when intelligence gets strength against strength there is nullification

I think this is much much better.
Logically it is making sense, I will comment with repercussions to hero plays a bot later.

Straight out I can see skadi alchemist will become a thing, with tank levels comparable to that of Medusa

I will like to point out that this is a really good conception and a really good job by kyfoid. People should read the last post he wrote.

Reworked a couple things in there.

*Going for another rework*

Strength:

On Strength, attack damage and life pool
On agility, armor, evasion (can evade reflected magic from intel but not pure return from agility on strength)
On intelligence, conversion of magic damage to pure on spells, mana shield against magic damage only

Agility:

On agility, armor reducing attack for attacker only, attack speed
On Intelligence, percent chance true critical strike and improved cast rate
on strength, movement speed, pure damage damage return

Intelligence:

On Intelligence, reflection percentage of physical damage raw attacks back at attacker as magic damage, proportional mana cost for the magic damage applied, mana pool
On Agility, mana pool, higher magic damage on spells but for a higher mana cost
On strength, magic resistance and conversion of physical damage attacks to magic damage

Recent Changes*

Strength on agility life pool and evasion
Agility on strength returns pure damage
Movement speed on agility from strength back to armor

Strength on Agility: Armor, Evasion, Can evade reflected magic damage from intel but not return from pure damage reflect of agility on strength.

No more armor reduction or block on intel, now percent chance for true critical strike and cast rate

No more cast rate on agility who get intelligence, instead they get higher magic damage on spells but for additional mana cost.

THERE IS IT FINISHED?

Going to change life pool on intels who get strength to mana shield that only blocks magic damage

Armor back on agility instead of life pool

True critical strike on intel is pure damage where the damage can only be enhanced by stat and not item.
