There’s also a world championship every year. Its called TI (the international) and as you get into detail with dota, you will be able to understand what’s going on when you watch pro games. The prize money for the last international was more than 10mio $ and the first place got 51% (5mio divided by 5 players = 1 million each) Pro players can actually live off gaming.. that is their life..! Playing dota for a living!!:D I mean how awesome is that
