I still think Centaur Warchief would win any 1v1 at full item builds.

He can go up to 9k HP with 6 HoT and he can reflect and deal a lot of damage.

Also, he could replace 2 HoT with a blademail and a assault cuirass.

I'd say Centaur based off his sheer tankyness.

Technically, a doombringer with 6 hearts has the most strength and is thus the strongest.

Lifestealer would just eat a 6 heart doom.

Depends on what we are talking about? If you mean in 1v1 situations, the Faceless Void has the crown, with Troll Warlord in second. If you are talking about in team fights, then I'd have to say Faceless Void again. Then again, DoTA is a situational game, any hard carry can be the best if in the right line-up.

FV would still win.

And as for the original question, Terrorblade best 1v1. If it were Terrorblade vs Faceless Void, it would just depend. IF Faceless can kill TB in his chrono, then FV would win. If TB survived for a second after that, Void is dead.

You do realize that centaur return scales right.....

Medusa. Ultra late game, best teamfight carry and best 1v1 carry. Mana shield is insane, and AoE purge is too good to pass up. An old joke is that if you're a VERY farmed Medusa, you a-click to their base and still win.
Guides are merely a general outline, do not take it as a bible. The best players adapt to circumstance.

I played a recent game as lifestealer and he is very strong with farm against other heroes with farm, His sustain is great, his magic immunity also, but bash effects and chronosphere are a problem for him (but thats if your lucky, like most enemies are =/)

I'll have to make a case for Spectre here, considering only the heroes released so far
I think she can resist and return just enough damage to win any 1vs1, and in a teamfight she's just so hard to take down.
I'm not sure she's the best overall but I just find

that she's not even in the conversation, expecially considering that at equal farm FV can't kill her during a chronosphere and he's been named as the stronger by many.
