The ghost scepter dilemma

Hey everyone ! I'm upping this topic for two reasons.

First, I didn't take the time to thank everyone for their advice and explanations. So thank you. I just picked the scepter with Crystal Maiden my last game. Countered these Clinkz and Faceless Void so hard, he he.

And second, I have two more questions :

1) Ghost Scepeter negates phys dmg but amplifies the magic dmg. What happens to the pure ones, then ?

2) What happens if you activate the scepter and are buffed by Fate's Edict at the same time ? World ends and you turn into an invincible marching machine of doom ?

1) Nothing. Pure damage behavior is normal, the target being ethereal or not.
2) You still can take pure damage (and it is 50% stronger).
