I'm Spacecat, a fan and player of dota as you would expect of a dotafire user, and i am interested and hosting a tournament for all and any amateur teams. Amateur is defined by the fact that no player on a team can have over 4,300 MMR. I am trying to work out creating a prize for the winning team but it will be something small if anything like a treasure or 2 or something like that. Donations are welcome, and will only be put to creating the prize. Only FULL teams are officially registered. If you are a player you will be put on a "single players list" or a team with only 2-4 players, you will be put on the "empty team list". Both lists will be able to view the other list and request to join or recruit. If you are hoping to cast this tournament, you will also have to register.This next sentence is important so it will be in caps. ALL PARTICIPANTS:WE NEED SOME SORT OF COMMUNICATION OUTSIDE OF STEAM AND DOTAFIRE, FOR SENDING INFORMATION,BRACKETS AND SCHEDULES, PREFERABLY EMAIL OR SKYPE. Is there more information about this tournament somewhere (ie format, schedule, etc)? Also where can we signup (couldn't find a steam group on space age tournament) and is it too late to sign up?

I apologize to everyone for not being as responsive about this. It is not 2 late to signup, u can sign up right here on this thread by entering ur team name and all 5 members, there is no steam group nor have i made schedules yet, because there is not enough people. once we get at least 8 teams these things will be implemented.
