Hey guys

so i had a Bo3 scrim last night but we were missing 2 of our team (mid,pos4) and usually im the shot caller in the games so going into mid game im usually quite vocal and "commanding", it gets stuff done and provides a clear sense of purpose to our team. but last night i felt that i couldnt actually "call" the shots with the stand.ins and we lost both games. this was a 4k rated game and well... it was great early game. i won my lane pretty easily. mid won his. safelane both games went up against an aggro trilane but didnt give any kills but our carry had trouble farming. we won early game pretty hard. second game we were 10-1 at one stage but then going into mid game i just couldnt make the calls because it didnt feel right. thus both games come mid game they just gained all this momentum and rolled over us and because of no clear "this is what were doing" teamfights were all over the place.

my question to you guys that play in scrims or teams or in regular 5 stacks.

what is the Etiquette for dealing with your stand.ins, can you command them like normal? or do you have to adjust a lot? how do you shotcall with unfamiliar teammates?

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

I guess you just do the same, it might even be more important to do so since the standins dont know how the team normally plays.

I would probably explain the way we want to play beforehand a bit, and ask the standins what their style is. Are you a greedy support? Are you an agressive or carefull carry? Stuff like that.
You could also ask them if they mind a shouting captain or tell them that you will call shots a lot, but i personally wouldnt really mind if i was a standin, and neither if i was the captain.
