Hey guys, could you please look at our draft.. Can u tell me what should have we picked/banned. Probably silencer ban woulshad been smart..
Ty
The biggest thing i see is that your enemies really had a plan for the game, and while you have good heroes they arent really good against the enemy and dont have obvious team synergy.
I dont really criticise first bans if you play with a team in pub CM, if you have trouble dealing with zeus and beastmaster then sure, ban them.
You both picked the 2 supports first, but i think your duo is a bit more predictable, they are both useless as soon as someone activates a BKB, so only blink hex has a chance against that. They kind of scream DEFENSIVE TRILANE since they are so level dependant.
The anti mage ban was not needed, yea you only have magic damage so far, but they have good lockdown and you still have 3 picks.
Qop ban, sure she is a good hero but you already have so much lockdown that she may have needed a BKB first item.
They are banning offlaners who can suddenly jump in and screw with lanes. They are setting up for their pushing lineup, but its not too predictable.
You pick a tide, sure its a good pick, but leaves your lanes predictable. They suddenly bust out the viper for early pushing and the silencer to kind of screw the tide. I dont think its gamebreaking but its one more thing you have to deal with.
You get gyro, sure its a strong hero, but they have some stuff that goes through BKB, and corrosive skin blocks a lot of gyro's early damage.
You expect and offlaner, which is fair enough against their unpredictable draft, you dont know what to expect and global silence + stampede could be very strong.
The night stalker pick was not very good IMO, they have a lineup that you cant really run into, tgey have a lot of counter initiation and magic damage/slows flying around, he is a risky pick in general. And might just get crushed in lane by either viper or something else they will pick.
A big reason for picking NS is also his silence against mobile heroes, and they dont really have them.
Their show what they are planning with their last pick, they are going to take early towers and pressure hard. Even lategame they are still very strong, DK can handle gyro throughout the entire game IF he keeps up in farm, and he has help from wyvern, viper, and silencer.
Dragon knight also kind of screws over the stalker, since he can just lock hin down, and isnt vulnerable to being solo killed by him.
To have a chance in the lategame tide NEEDS a refresher. And even then you need a way to deal with the silencer.
The thing to take away from this is to draft unpredictable, have a plan or way you are going to play the game, and if you do show your cards early, pick a very good team with a lot of synergy that is very good at what they do best!
We can talk about what heroes would have been better but that is useless, the game happened and thats that.
About itempickups, the tide needed a refresher as i said, and drums on him is kind of a waste of money, a force staff would be really good on him i think. Maybe a mekanism if that would meant you were able to fight them.
Arcanes force refresher is probably the build, maybe shivas somewhere in there.
Tidehunter drums shivas guard isn't really useful, and you play tide as a utility hero. If he had maybe a force staff or a mek instead of drums, I'd be alright with that. Though, shiva's guard is picked AFTER refresher. You do have the mana to pop both if you use your arcanes when you refresh.
