Hey guys i was at almost 27k mmr, working my way up to 3k.. I wanted to get there so much, but then one day I just started losing... And losing... And i didn't even do bad. I did pretty good... And after 2 months I'm at 2k mmr... Has it ever happened to u? I need advice on how to get back... I'm a lost ship... Ty for answers
I am smurfing an account from near 2.7k, Ive found that the easiest way is to just be so knowledgeable about the game that you can go into captains mode, insta-pick capatain, and choose a ****** friendly team that outdrafts the enemy team.
Ive recently raised from about 2.7-2.8k to 3.3k in a few days (had like a near 20 game winning streak with I think two losses, both from player trolls). The lower your MMR, the harder it can be to raise it. Always take mid if you are able to. Currently the best heroes for raising MMR are Templar Assassin, viper, sniper, and Ember Spirit. All heroes with excellent early, mid, and late games and with natural pushing and ganking abilities.
Watch replays and see what you've done wrong. If you know anybody very high skilled then have them analyze a few games for you. Aside from that take a break, maybe you're on tilt. Come back when you're fresh and ready.
Lol I feel you. My original mmr was 3.3k and rising, then I was apparently hit with some kind of curse. Several games in a row I had teammates abandon, leaving it 4v5 or even 3v5, and the mmr still counted. I think it was during some server problems in my region, I'm not sure, but my mmr hasn't recovered. It eventually fell to about 2.6k and I'm sort of on my way back up now.
Play core heroes who can snowball and just keep calm in games. Seriously, being positive has a big impact on games. The second I know my opponent is starting to get angry I just tell my team to play it cool, because 9/10 times you are going to beat a team who is arguing among themselves.
If you truly believe you are stuck in a bracket that is below your actual skill bracket, try to be a leader. Don't be demanding or rude, but let them know that you're capable of playing well and leading a team in a helpful way. Don't flame or contribute to arguments, just mute troublemakers and focus on winning. It helps so much.
ok ill try... im one of the calm players who dont flame. I really dont like the idea when some players say that they are very good playesr, but the team is always full of noobs. I know i have much to learn but i do believe that if hadnt lost that much mmr, i would be near 3k... When i play mid, i get lots of kill and stuff (most of the time), but we lose at the end...
