Best EU, I think should be the specification. I think that EG and VG certainly take up the top 2, but secret is probably third.

The only other American team that I would see getting an invite aside from EG would be Complexity and even then I don't think their chances are all too good. I hope Na'Vi doesn't get an invite so I can bathe in the tears of their fanboys.

C9 really cut the **** after their post DAC slump and showed against NIP and polar that they are still top dog.
secret has a lot of problems with polar in the summit 3 winner bracket finals, but C9 just crushed them 3-0 in the loser bracket like nobody's buisness.
i think their direct invite is pretty much secured unless some sudden roster changes happen. which will be unlikely.

C9 are incredibly strong at the moment. Just 2-0'd Empire in Starladder qualifiers too, after beating Empire, Alliance, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Asus Polar in the lower bracket of The Summit 3 qualifiers.

I'm pretty sure Na'Vi will get an invite. Dendi is still the most recognizable Dota player worldwide - they'll want him there for sure, and while Na'Vi hasn't been playing great, who cares, it's not like Valve has a mandatory set of rules for who gets invited.
