Short tutorial on how to reduce lag when using the Steam Browser. Following this will make you load a number of pages, including guides, trade windows, player and team profiles and the store, much faster.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Open Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings - UNTICK the box next to "Automatically detect settings".


While this video is meant for Dota 2 players, this tip should prove useful no matter what games you have in your library. Also, this should make other Internet-dependant programs behave much faster.
