ESL's long and strong history in eSports will only continue with ESL One Frankfurt 2014. ESL has always prided itself on it's open components for any tournament in any game and we are excited to have openness featured at ESL One Frankfurt 2014. We want to offer the chance to lesser known teams to be part of this gigantic event. The tournament qualifiers will include a regional open bracket stage for America and Europe which an unlimited amount of teams can sign up for.
We are also sympathetic to the tough schedules that the best teams in the world face today - with daily matches and constant online tournaments, we want to make it easier for the best teams to be able to participate in qualification without weeks of dedication for just a chance.
Today we are releasing more information on our American and European structures, with Asian qualification structure to be released as a later date.
Do you want to battle it out against the best teams in the world in front of thousands of fans?
