No, it doesn't apply CF to creeps that are only hit with cleave. BF is also a bad choice as he isn't a carry nor a hero that needs their farm sped up. SK also has pretty bad auto attack and a skillset that doesn't suit a carry.

Hi - ok maybe this is a bit of a noob question, BUT (at least for the sake of the info) if you get [*] Battle Fury does it also apply Caustic Finale to the creeps it hits with the cleave? and is it worth picking it up? (obviously not so good vs heroes)

Well, Epicenter hasn't to be that fragile, you can use the invisibility that lasts from Sand Storm when the spell is canceled to start hitting Epicenter. That way you will need to wait only half second, as Sand Storm leaves 1,5 second of invisibility and you'll need to charge Epicenter for 2 seconds.

This is an okay guide, but I think you should use some more detail. 1. Anyone with aoe damage/stun can easily kill you while your using sandstorm, ex. Pudge, Lina, even Sven can kill get you if he catches you in a storm bolt. 2. veil is Always the better item over scepter. Blink + Veil costs just a little bit over Aghs, and is way more effective. At level 3, Epicenter does 10(12*) pulses, Scepter(12 x 110 x .75= 990) while Veil(10 x 110 x 1= 1100). Veil does more damage, and it costs 1550 less gold. 3. As for your skill build, SK shouldn't get his caustic finale until level 10, it pushes the lanes too hard and will keep you from getting gold in the early game, you even say:

... But you get a point in it early game. Now I agree it does start shining once you have 3 or 4 points in it, but it just isn't worth it early game as Sandstorm is pretty awful a level one with a 40 second cooldown, and that takes more priority. I got my first RAMPAGE!!!!! as Sand King and I really like playing as him.

nice guide , might i add that early game with Ancient apparation as a lane partner will land u 1st blood with ease.... all AA needs to do is use 'cold feet' and 'ice vortex' straight after that, in combination with SK's stun, you got yourself 1st blood..nice guide +1

Actually, you will get further away from the enemy if you use it when trying to escape. You can use it to dash across obstacles so that while you easily escape, the enemy can't catch up with you.

Blink-Epicenter tip: start channelling Epicenter from a safe distance and order a blink while pressing shift so that it goes the instant the Epicenter starts.

nice guide
but i dont understand why you need blink dagger
because
burrow has a stun of 2.17 secs
so what i do is use burrow on someone
then fast after i touch him i use epicenter
and after its channeled i use (sometimes) Sand storm (it doesnt brake epicenter!)
so they cant attack you when your earthquake is going on
and yes you can use blink to get away or something
but id prefer go for aghanim first
and you actually dont need blink so...

but the other part of the guide is good!

I don't even...

Unless you're consistently landing Burrowstrike on literally all 5 enemy heroes, there is no way you can reliably pull off Epicenter. It's possible to rush BKB instead of Blink and Burrow->Epi while your BKB is up, but Blink is so useful for chasing and escaping + double stacking + general mobility on SK that there's no reason not to get it.

1) I disagree with your starting items if you're going to build arcanes before urn. If you're doing a situational urn-rush, then it might be okay to get gauntlet first. The starting items also somehow don't include courier/wards? If you're playing SK as a 3rd position / solo offlane, a stout is probably better to allow you to farm.

2) Your skill build is incredibly situational. Generally SK will be played as a support 4th/5th position, and it is absolutely not your job to push lanes until much later in the game. If you need to be able to clear stacked jungle camps, lvl 3-4 sandstorm does the job better now that Valve has fixed sandstorm not damaging jungle creeps. Your build only works with a very VERY heavy pushing strat or if youre laning mid vs a melee / low range hero.

Other comments:
- Depending on your team comp, veil could be considered core after blink.
- I don't see how building shadow blade could be justified if you have blink + sandstorm. If you need to escape, you can burrowstrike up/down cliffs or into the woods and TP out. Alternatively, BKB (which is more useful than shadow blade) + TP out.
- Other situational items to consider: BoT / Drum / Pipe / Blademail / Heart / Sheep / Shiva's / Euls / Vlads (all situational, but work in the right circumstances)
- I think a section on who to lane with / who to watch out for would be very helpful for new players. For example, a SK/Leshrac or SK/Lina lane is incredibly powerful. Heroes like Slardar/BH will track you through invis, and Pugna's nether ward will **** up your Epi-Blink.

For core items i recommend a Veil over the Sceptor...though the sceptor gives you more HP, the veil does a hell of a lot more in a team fight in terms of damage. Epicenter + Blink + Veil + Burrow + 25% magic damage for your entire team is way more beneficial than 2 extra epicenter pulses.

Depends. Aghs gives way more stat bonuses, in particular the +HP/+Mana are very very useful. Also, think of it like this: unless the enemy team is completely stacked on top of each other (Magnus/Enigma ults), chances are you're going to hit maybe 6-8 of your 10 pulses on many of the heroes. In this case, the extra two pulses you get from Aghs are the widest AOE and will definitely hit, making it >= 25% extra epicenter damage.

I disagree with your statement that SK is an intermediate skill hero -- many pro players consider him the highest skillcap hero in the game.

Additional issues: veil is almost always better than aghanims if you don't need the HP and are not the only source of magic damage on your team. Maxing caustic (or even skilling it before 10) is situational depending on your laning matchup seeing as it pushes your lane uncontrollably, whereas sandstorm maxed gives you consistent disjoint.
