Great guide on playing the carry role, being able to but a role into words might sound easy but its not in anyway and the fact you managed to describe it perfectly, credit it to you bro. +1
Solid guide ,I think you should mention less 4+1 in pubs for less magina pickers ,but how can I talk when I play lancer and morph
Yeah but morph has a rather high skill cap and lancer farms nice and easy and both heroes can be very effective earlier on. I agree that trying to win the game around 35th minute is probably the easiest. Hard carry farming is an art and it takes a lot more than to know how to last hit creeps in a lane.
I'd say that he's versatile. He can be played as hard-carry because he can really dish out ridiculous damage very very very quickly late game while not even being in close range for the the enemy to focus him down. But his ultimate and first skill can get him a quite a few kills early on. In the right hands this somewhat "rubbish" hero can become an effective killing machine trough the entire duration of the match. Note! He's stupidly fragile. So you MUST be very very careful at all times.
Great job man!!! At once someone managed to describe how to play a certain role in written form. Even tho I know the game pretty much trough out I enjoyed reading this piece of art!!! Fav and upvoted! Keep up.
I'd put him down as being pretty close to a hard carry - he's never going to be tanky, but he can output amazing DPS with the right equipment. His big issue against the likes of AM, Void, etc is they have the ability to get to him - otherwise he can be nigh on unstoppable in the late game.
He does have some utility early-mid game thanks to Assassinate but has to get some survivability/escape ASAP.
Personally, I feel he's one of those "in between" carries that Sando mentioned. He has some abilities like Assassinate that allow him to pick up early kills, but he doesn't have the early people-farming snowball potential like Nightstalker, TA, or QoP. Early-mid, he's mostly just a nuisance with the occasional headshot proc, but not a serious threat unless you're already low.
He isn't a hard carry like Anti-Mage, Void, or Spectre either though. He doesn't have the ability to go full-on Farmasaurus like AM/Void, he doesn't develop the end game tankiness that Void, Medusa, and Spectre often do, lacks the commanding late game team fight presence of Void, Spectre or Medusa. As such, he tends to get outclassed by many truly hard carries, especially once the game becomes teamfight heavy.
Sniper's peak comes somewhere between the two, when right click damage really starts to overcome ability damage in terms of general lethality (most semi-carries have an ability or two that helps them burst down heroes early). Once he hits that point, though, it's in his interests to push a win if the other team has a harder carry.

A question...
Sniper: Hard or Semi?
