Zotmaster's guide is the only reason I learned to play the original Axe and then Legionnaire.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I suppose in that sense it's kinda neat to see someone who liked my guide enough to want to spread it to a wider audience and/or ascend to the next level of manliness. That's fine; I really don't have a problem with that. That being said, there are a couple of problems with this implementation.

First off, and there's no way around it, the guide is a little bit out of date. I still think Battle Hunger sucks. I look at the fact that Battle Hunger has been buffed several times since the guide was written and correctly point out that clearly, I was on to something. I still don't think it's good enough. But I digress. You'll notice I don't comment on Aghs on him, mostly because when I wrote the guide it didn't work on Axe. I'd update the guide, but you know what? I really don't care.

This brings me to my second point, which is, as you can imagine, my bigger point of contention: the whole "taking credit for work that's not yours" thing. I'm not saying I'm an Internet celebrity, but that guide has a shade under 300,000 views on PlayDota. That's a lot of traffic, and even assuming every person who viewed the guide viewed it ten times would still mean tens of thousands of people have read it. It was only a matter of time before someone called you out on it: in fact, it took what, a few hours at the most?

The funny part is that if you had asked me about putting the guide up on here, I probably would have said something to the effect of, "I'm too lazy to make an account there. If you want to post the guide, go ahead."

Really. Post it wherever you want. Convince Yahoo to bring back Geocities and host my guides on there. Print it out and staple it to your mother's face. I really don't care. Just give credit where it's due.

If I ever see you, you totally owe me a bag of beef jerky: my choice of brand. Capisce?
