Do you get exp for that? Also, can you put a hand of midas on the bear? I have seen some pro players (like Na'Vi Puppey) got two midas, and farmed the whole secret shop.

Legit; I never thought of using Mjol's before. I'll have to try that. In pubs it's nearly impossible to get the proper farm needed to truly run a good Sylla because your team mates get impatient with you, so this seems like it could work.

Oh, another thing to consider if you are farmed, get a Mjollnir on Sylla and another on the bear. :D

tranq boots are also good boots for sylabear himself, for the start of the game to give him some regen power, after a few core items you can break it up into treads travel whatever, and use the 2 rings for a vladz..

I will update on pulling and jungling and ganking.

Vlads is yes and no necessary. It gives great lanestay, which is why I recommend it.

I used to play a non radiance sylabear on the old dota1 - very well I'll add :)
this was a jungle bear tho, so farm was a bit more guaranteed.

Basically it's mirror builds - whatever is on the bear is on syla.
both have bashers, both have mjo (or maelstrom), syla has a skadi, while the bear has an oov - bear has phase boots, syla has treads.

you could basically DPS an entire team with this build. After this point, hard dmg items such as butterfly, mkb, crit etc are the build.

I still prefer this to the rad build, but it takes to long, and the current meta is an average of 35 minutes a game - soo, not the best build :D

+1 for creating the option build. vladz is ok, but not overally necessary - but I see why you would need it.

I think some items could be shifted around form the bear to Sylla and vice versa. But otherwise, good guide. Add some tips about pulling creeps with your bear too.

I will make clear that rabid has a duration of 50 with full synergy.

My bad on Battle Cry, it used to be 10 in Dota1??

I throw Mjollnir on Sylla because the bear has no mana and can't activate it! The bear cannot use the static charge part.

I can think of some situations where a Shadow Blade might be nice--you are a gank-a-holic or you want an escape mechanism. Sylla normally rolls around in the dough, I figured you could do any item you really want.

I will add Phase Boots as an extended core for the bear. I do like them, but often after I get my cores, the game is all but over and I am in their raxes.

Thanks for the feedback!
