Nice job with the content for your first guide. Obviously put a lot of time into it. What i will say is, why Desolator ? Wouldnt you want instead to have a pair of boots? Just my 2 cents but still some pretty good content.

Thanks SuperNova, appreciated.

I didnt expect my comment to stir up such emotion.

I am not saying that tanks should be focused first, but taking out tanky heroes is something life stealer excells at. So there are situations when the tank should be focused:
1: They are out of position.
2: You want some health regen: Attacking a high hp hero that is on full health gives you alot of +hp, that is attacking a tank makes you more tanky. There are games where lifestealer is your teams primary tank and not your primary dps, in this situations it is sometimes worth while attacking heroes with high hp - it will seriously make you harder too kill.
3: Say a skeleton king that is on low mana, but has good items and is his teams main source of DPS, a decent farmed lifestealer can kill SK surprisingly fast.
4: Ganking - lifestealer can gank tanky heroes!

Dotagod532:
you are a rude person.

Your welcome, that dotagod will probably last another week before being banned.

In the picture above would you focus the 3k hp pudge risking being disabled by his ult or take down the jakiro, mirana and then the sk where their dps is at? Sure feast does a lot of damage to high hp heros but tanks want to be focused in fights so they draw away all the damage from their teammates.

you still dont get it. If you arent going to focus tanks then there is no reason to pick lifestealer. HE IS ANTI-TANK FFS.

protip to not getting banned: Stop acting like some little kid raging to everyone and ffs stop stalking peoples dotabuff's. in addition Lifestealer is the definition of anti-tank, that's why you pick him in the first place. you seem to not understand how Feast works.

Linaz i see that you recently lost a game with a fed lifestealer. Perhaps you focused the tanks and lost it. Maybe you should watch the replay and improve yourself at this game. Then you will see that focusing the tanks is WRONG!!~!

Only thing i am against in this build, is you advise to never go after the tanks.

Lifestealer does best against tanks, i think he is BEST picked when the oponents have a tanky lineup (or even a tank carry).
Feast works awesome against tanks.

Lifestealer does do big damage to high hp heroes, but is that what you want to focus on? They might have blade mail and that's no good. Its best to take down the weaker supports or squishy carries. Focusing the tank will ensure a teamfight loss if you are the main source of dps.
