Hello Peppo, and thanks for the insight! A Shadow Blade this late is mostly for preserving the killstreaks (I often do have a godlike streak up to this point, which will give about 1.5k gold if killed) and just allowing you to be more agressive in lategame teamfights. Like, you still may assist if you somewhy came late to a teamfight, and there's a lone dude escaping, you may still assist him.
When it comes to passive, i usually max it first because it helps with escaping, primarily. Do your cast and run, helps a lot. As well as it deals noticebly more damage by the time you finish your first Oblivion Staff.
As for Force Staff - duly noted, though Orchid Malevolence is just too good to replace, might try getting it as the first major-ish item.
As for mid, i don't like to mid with Lina, as she is not that good with lasthitting, AND she is just too good at harassing the lane opponents, which can't be done as well on the midlane.
Besides me not being a huge fan of semi-carry Lina - though she's pretty decent mid - a Shadow Blade gotten that late (if you manage to get the Orchid by 15 minutes and the bloodstone by 30, that would be ~40 minutes into the game!) is plain useless; I'd rather go for a Scythe of Vyse instead. Orchid rush is fine but you really need the mid lane for it (because I'm pretty sure nobody would let a Lina get farm in the safe lane), so a Bottle first is mandatory.
About the skill build, I'd rather max out Light Strike Array before Fiery Soul as by the time you max it out you won't have much attack damage; on the other side the damage increase of your nuke is really noticeable when ganking.
The Force Staff is a very good early item, I think it's the best one to get if not going for the Orchid Malevolence because you're getting killed too many times: the extra mobility makes instakills with Laguna Blade so easy; it also helps when trying to land good stun with Light Strike Array.
