A good point, we're still getting used to the new upgrade (I've managed to get it in a few games now), but it's definitely useful, and you're right about the Gem giving fantastic daytime vision (night time not so good). You can also combine it fairly effectively with Necronomicon level 3 minions, as their true sight works with your flying vision - pretty expensive items for a support though, even one who can farm as well as KOTL.
I think the synergy between Aghanim's Scepter and Gem of True Sight deserves a mention. You basically become a warding/dewarding machine, you can go anywhere on your own without any risk of getting ganked, and you have flying vision to see any enemy wards. This is free map control if we ever saw any. The day vision is the real benefit of Aghanim's Scepter, and it has huge potential.
KOTL is a turtling hero, and a big part about turtling is establishing map control around your base by warding and dewarding, so your teammates can walk safely outside base without getting instakilled. That's what Aghanim's Scepter allows you to do, and this is gamechanging IMO.
Bloodseeker is surprisingly spammable - if he levels Bloodrage it does 120 damage per 80 mana, a pretty good harassment spell. Obviously KOTL can lane with heroes with no nuke, and use the alternate build...but the whole point of this guide is how you can use Chakra Magic to efficiently harass enemies by feeding your laning partner(s).
I also play Kotl, and I like your guide. One thing I disagree is the fact you always say, "lane with a spammable character." Example: I can play a game with blood seeker, in offlane and still get kills and first blood. If I get laned with someone who doesn't have spammable nukes such as blood seeker, sniper, anti-mage, and etc. I can still do fine. If that happens, I max my Illuminate first for early harassment/kills/push.
I just recently started learning a support character and I chose kotl because of his abilities and speed. This is the only build I found to be useful the only thing I would add to this one that has helped me out tremendously is Aghanim's Scepter. Being able to stay in spirit form is awesome especially with boots of travel when someone needs to jump back and blow away the creep waves.
