I do kind of disagree with a few of your counters. As new counters, I'd suggest Slardar, Alchemist and Tinker. According to dotabuff, these heroes have good win rates against brood.
Phantom Asassin: no early game Aoe. The evasion isn't that much of a problem. She has no way to solo kill brood until late game.
Ursa: No good Aoe. Spiders can kill him.
Enchantress: no Aoe. Not dangerous damage output. I disagree that she is hard to kill.
Phantom lancer: Brood can destroy him in lane, and he is food if brood can detect the real one (I think Medallion of Courage can do this).
Tusk: Aoe damage can be dodged/tanked. Often roaming, but brood can often turn a gank from tusk around. He can’t tank many seconds of damage from brood.
Viper: No Aoe. Doesn’t harass/farm/fight as well as broodmother.
I generally agree and I don't think the guide suggests players "gank". I do suggest Brood kills lots of enemies when they come after her or if they happen to be in her lane or if the team needs her to fight.
Really good question butterflyz. I have not seen it done early game like the radiant example. You can obviously do it easily if you get past the enemy T1 safe lane then setup in their jungle and extend to the mid lane I've seen that many times but early game I don't think its viable? Maybe you could extend through the enemy jungle (you can just reach mid lane with six webs) but haven't tried it in a real game. Its so far to run in between it would be hard to really punish both lanes but maybe someone out there has a good example of it.
You might want to add Sand King to his counters, if I've looked correctly he's not mentioned and he's a quite popular pick against Broodmother. His Caustic Finale is really painful to Broodmother and her spiderlings.
you forgot to mention on of the best counters to Broodmother : Techies !
a good Techies player can punish him hard will he is hiding in the trees by putting some mines deep inside the trees and also he is on of the best anti-pushers in the game.

Slardar has a stun that can kill spiders, and he can provide vision over you with his Corrosive Haze.
Alchemist can use Acid Spray and Greevil's Greed to gain lots of gold from spiders. Tinker can use March of the Machines to counter broodmothers push.
Some of the heroes you mentioned that I think are no problem for brood: Phantom Assassin, Ursa, Enchantress, Phantom Lancer, Tusk, Viper.

Nice guide though, keep it up. :)
