Lore
Banished from her village, Vitavale, for her curiousity in arts of the Wiccan, Pulchralia was once just a normal young girl. Normal. That's all she wanted to return to. If she could keep her pet imps, collection of skeletons, and cult of goblin worshipers it would be quite easy. But it wasn't. Her very father set out in a mob of dark arts-fearing villagers to bring back her head on a pike. They traversed the forest of barren boughs to reach the swamp of the whispering haze where they found her. Only just a year ago had she left the village.
Poor Pulchralia weeping on the bank of murky bog water. Not fearing the sight, the father walked up behind his daughter. Her head began to twitch. A wicked sounding series of bones rattling and cracking coinciding with the little girl turning her head around. The face of an angel, suddenly contorted to the face of a screaming withered husk. A black aura was then sucked out of the man's face while bloodcurling screams echoed throughout the entire province.
"I have given myself to the Dark Lord, Nevermore will be pleased with this harvest of souls." said the Hag in a demented croak. Instantly fatigued, she fell over on her side and fainted. She then woke up restless. What had happened to her? Why does the village lie in ruin? Where was her family?
"Ah... My little girl... My daughter in darkness... My Pythonalia..."
But most of all she wondered, what was that voice, and why was it so comforting?
Abilities
Q:
Illusion
Target: allied unit or self
Pythonalia conjures a perfect mirage of an allied unit or herself. The illusion created by Illusion takes 100% damage from creeps, deals 100% damage, has 100% attack and move speed and has a lifespan of 15/21/28/36 seconds. When these illusions take damage from heroes, they are instantly destroyed. If Pythonalia casts Illusion on herself, there is no cast time, the current movement order will be aborted, Pythonalia blinks 300 units behind where the ability was cast, Pythonalia gains invisibility for 6/8/10/12 seconds, and the illusion created will continue to path where the last move order was given before Illusion was cast.
The paladins may smite her with all of their divine power, but they seem to just waste their strength on mirages of the Hag.
W:
Skull Rend
Target: enemy hero
The Hag of Vitavale contorts her hand into a bloody claw with bony needles stretched out of her fingertips. The claw then rips into the target's skull, dealing 50/100/150/200 magical damage, stealing .4/.8/1.2/1.6 intelligence permanently, and stunning for .4/.6/.8/1 seconds.
Target: enemy, neutral, or allied unit or self
Pythonalia bends reality and switches the target's current and maximum health with the target's current and maximum mana for 10/10/10/10 seconds. When the duration ends, the max and current health will be switched back out for the current and max mana.
Range: 800
Cooldown: 80/60/40
Mana Cost: 225/215/205/195
Pierces Magic Immunity: Yes
Rule 1 of Hag Hunting: Expect the unexpected...
R:
Terrify
No target (channeled)
Pythonalia fully gives herself away to the Ozkavosh, transforming herself into a horrible monster after a channel of 3.5 seconds. During the channel, a piercing screech is sounded that all players can hear within 3,000 range. The screech is louder the closer the player is to Pythonalia. During the duration of Terrify (10/15/20 seconds) all heroes within 1,000 radius will be slowed by 20%/30%/40%, 2,000 radius will be slowed by 10%/15%/20%, 3,000 radius will be slowed by 5%/7.5%/10%). Enemy heroes within 1,500 units of Pythonalia will have nightmare-like images appear on their screen that will hinder viewing (up to 3 images at a time/up to 5 images at a time/up to 7 images at a time). Pythonalia also gains 20%/25%/30% increased attack and movement speed.
Cooldown: 120/150/170
Mana Cost: 275/350/425
Pierces Magic Immunity: Yes
What they thought was a little girl turned out to be a 1,000 year-old woman with blood adorning her claws and eyes that looked as if they were a passage to Oblivion.
