The story of the great paladin Glawardes starts in the faraway city of Mae Ortheiad, where a large populus of Elven men and women live in peace. Long ago the denizens of Mae Ortheiad almost got wiped off the face of the planet, but thanks to the brave Paladin of the Sun, they were saved from their fate, and so begins the story.
Back long ago, the city of Mae Ortheiad was much different than it is today, the city used to pass away any rumors or tales of grand gods of the sky and the earth, they believed in simply doing hard work all by themselves, no praying, no wishing, just hard work and determination. However, little did they know, the gods do exist, and they begun to grow angry at the citizens of Mae Ortheiad. Mae Ortheiad started to get targeted by unatural storms, plagues, droughts, as the gods gave them hardship after hardship. After but 2 days of these terrible disasters, a child discovered she was not like other children, she touched dying flowers and gave them back life, sick men and women nearby suddenly became well. Embracing the child as a sign from the goddess of the sun, shrines were built in honor of the sun, the storms and plagues were pressed back by healing waves of sunlight, the other gods, infuriated still, could do nothing to beat back the powers of the sun, and destroying the sun would mean disaster for all people.
After 22 years, the city of Mae Ortheiad still prays for the sun, and the child of the sun decides to see if she can spread some joy to other dark places of the land that may need aid. "Are you sure you want to leave?" her mother asks. "Yes, I am sure" Glawardes says, sympatetically. "You'll be fine here without me, I promise. It wouldn't be fair to let other people suffer the way we used to" "Alright Glawardes, I will miss you." "Me too. Goodbye, Mother".
Q: Solar Explosion:
Summons a large amount of solar explosions to decimate the target area.
Glawardes can deal as much damage to foes, as she can heal from her friends.
Amount of Explosions: 10/15/20/25
Radius: 400/450/500/550
Damage per Explosion: 20
Cooldown: 10 Mana Cost: 130/150/170/190
Notes:
Explosions happen at an interval of 0.1 seconds.
Explosions occur at a random location in the radius.
Explosions deal damage in a 75 area of their blast.
If one enemy were to be hit by all explosions, it would deal: 200/300/400/500 damage.
W: Debilitation
Debilitates the target area, slowing movement speed.
Glawardes uses the same plagues she once explerieced in Mae Ortheiad against her foes in the form of a magical curse.
Slow: 15/20/25/30%
Radius: 300
Duration: 3
Cooldown: 18 Mana Cost: 50
Notes:
Debuff lingers for 1 second after an enemy has left the area, or the area expires.
E: Judgement
Smites the target enemy with pure sunlight, stunning and dealing PURE damage IF the enemy is in the area of Debilitation, if the enemy is not in the area of debilitation, Judgement deals 75% of the pure damage, and doesn't stun.
Glawardes judges those deemed unworthy of the sun.
Stun: 1/1.2/1.4/1.6
Damage: 100/150/200/230
Cooldown: 14/13/12/11 Mana Cost: 150
Notes:
Judgement deals max pure damage and stun as long as the enemy is affected by the debilitaion debuff.
Judgement deals 75/112.5/150/172.5 if the enemy is not affected by debilitation.
R: Hammer of the Sun:
Channels sunlight for 1.55 seconds and releases it in a HUGE burst, giving nearby allies huge health regen bonus for a few seconds. and smiting everyone with Judgement that deals 2x damage. *Upgradeable by Aghanim's Scepter
Glawardes uses the power of the sun to heal allies and hard enemies, just like she has done before.
Notes:
If channeling is canceled, or interrupted, it will not go on cooldown.
Judgement WILL stun all enemies, but only for 1 second.
Health regen will heal through ally magic immunity.
Enemies will be damaged through magic immunity, but not stunned.
I think this should be more of an intelligence hero, no?
Strength heroes have passives. xD
Well I was thinking about a hero sorta like omninight when I made this, but it ended up being more of an aoe nuker hero instead. But the int gain on this hero is good, so it's fairly decent for a caster role, I might nerf the strength gain though.
