Lore:It's the rarest of Keen that pursue specializing in a more physical endeavor, but Fortylove was always anything but common. Though her mind was not to be trifled with, from an extremely young age she took to a tennis racket like a Slithereen to water, quickly climbing the ranks as one of the most formidable competitors on the planet.
Then, after winning the Jidi Island invitational, disaster struck: an easily spooked horse turned an otherwise relaxing post-tournament ride into a fractured spine and a desperate struggle for survival. After a few weeks, she stabilized, but could barely walk on her own strength, and would never play tennis again.
For Fortylove, this was unacceptable. She trained her body until she was fit enough to hold a wrench again, then set to work, pouring another year of her life into the construction of an exoskeleton that would let her compete once more. The result was incredible: and far too overpowered, immediately getting her barred from all but the least scrupulous of tournaments. Disheartened, she considered dismantling the suit until an admirer named Rattletrap came to her, telling of a place she could perhaps put her talents to good use... and let off some rage as well.
Fortylove swings her energized, reflective racket, sending all projectiles within a 200 AOE in front of her back towards their sources. If the projectile reflected is from a spell, Fortylove regains mana equal to a proportion of that spell's mana cost.
Mana Replenish Proportion:40/60/80/100% Max reflect distance:1200 units
Mana Cost:100Cooldown:8/6/4/2 seconds
- Affects all projectiles (spells and auto attacks) in a 60 degree arc in front of Fortylove.
- Projectiles trigger on hit effects if they strike their source.
Though initially intended for serving tennis balls, Fortylove's racket has since been modified for more deadly purposes.
[W]: Lunge - (Point target):
Fortylove shoots forward, reaching the targeted area in .6 seconds. Increases the distance of Fortylove's spells if used within 1 second of completing a Lunge.
Max Range:400/550/700/850 Spell Distance Increase:400/600/800/1000
Mana Cost:55/50/45/35Cooldown:6 seconds
- Does not disjoint projectiles.
Fortylove's mechanically enhanced legs eclipse even her peak physical performance.
[E]: Kick Serve - (Point Target, Magical Damage):
Fortylove smashes a spiked tennis ball, slowing and dealing damage to the first enemy hero it hits. The projectile then bounces back towards Fortylove, who may hit it again with Backhand and send it shooting forward in a straight line at incredible speed, slowing and dealing damage to all enemy heroes in a line.
- The slow from the first serve and the backhand stack, making the maximum slow (on one hero) 40/60/80/100%
Robbed of her professional glory, Fortylove now uses her skill to cripple her foes.
[R]: Smash Ace (Single Target, Physical Damage):
Fortylove launches an opponent into the air, damaging them, and after .5 seconds strikes them with her racket, sending them flying in the direction she's facing. The enemy strikes the ground and takes damage after being airborne for one second. While in the air, the opponent may be struck with Backhand, dealing additional damage and sending them flying for another second. Fortylove may activate Smash Ace again on an airborne foe, driving them into the ground, dealing additional damage, and stunning them for another second.
Initial Damage:75/125/175 Smash Distance:600 units Backhand Damage:100 Backhand Distance:600 units Ground Smash Damage:100/150/200
Mana Cost:175/225/275Cooldown:70/60/50 seconds
- While an opponent is airborne, Smash Ace is not put on cooldown, but may only be used against the airborne foe.
- Refresher Orb will refresh the cooldown of the initial Smash Ace even if the secondary ability has not been used yet, but the initial ability will still be unusable until the opponent hits the ground.
- Total possible amount of disable when factoring in cast time, airborne time, Backhand, and ground smash disable is 3.5 seconds.
- Total distance displaced when factoring in smash and backhand is 1200 units, 2200 if lunge is used.
- Backhand may be used on the airborne opponent as many times as it is off cooldown and the foe has yet to touch the ground... meaning you could technically Refresh it to send the foe farther, deal more damage, and disable them even more.
Fortylove treats her opponent like a tennis ball... worse, actually.
So I have this problem where I seem to only like creating high mobility, high skill cap heroes. I'll do better next time. XD.
