Hello there. I've been playing DOTA a little while, but only on a very small number of characters. I love playing Riki, and I'm good at it, but every time I play him/do well I feel like I'm playing a really cheap character (idk why, just the stigma of him being a noob character).
What I'm wondering is if there are any good damagers/gankers that play like Riki or if I should just stick with what I know and enjoy? What do you guys recommend?

If you're looking for invis-based heroes then take a look at Bounty Hunter at Clinkz, both can do serious damage to enemy and are very rewarding and fun to play with.

If you are looking for high damage without need to buy items then look at some int nukers like Lina and Zeus.
"When game is going full ******, you can only go with it. If you start going against it, if you start going half ******, you´re ****ing done for. When Aloha decides to go middle rubick you let him, and you start buying orb of venom on invoker. That's how dota works" -n0tail

Well, if you like invisibility-based heroes that dish out insane amounts of damage the same way Riki does, then Bounty Hunter and Clinkz are the heroes for you! However, Bounty Hunter and Clinkz are played a liitle bit differently than Riki. Bounty Hunter is most usually played as a solo offlane and might be a bit frustating to play if you suck at offlaning. Clinkz is less 'active' than Riki since Clinkz requires an Orchid Malevolence to start ganking or else he'll get killed easily. Also, both heroes have different item builds. While Riki is focused on Agility-based items like Manta Style and Butterfly, Clinkz is focused on buying at least one item that disables enemies like Orchid Malevolence and Scythe of Vyse and then buying damage items like Monkey King Bar and Daedalus, and Bounty Hunter plays a much supportive role, buying items suitable for ganking like Phase Boots and Urn of Shadows and at the same time buying items that support the entire team like Drum of Endurance. Also, make sure to view guides here in Dotafire to improve your game. Good luck!

When I first started playing I enjoyed playing Lich, Axe, and Phantom Lancer. So you might want to give those a try.

as said several times now: if u look for a good high-reward + invis ganker then Bounty Hunter would be my recommendation.

As for gankers in general:

Night Stalker - easy to learn and a very potent ganker if played well
Nyx Assassin - THE low-level pubdestroyer
Templar Assassin - might be a bit tricky to get used to, but definitely a strong hero, that can deal with almost any opponent.

I think Bounty Hunter and Nyx Assassin might be to your liking. If you want heroes with similar roles but don't have invis, Bloodseeker and Night Stalker might also be good choices.

Or just buy shadow blade and play as any character. People like Nature's Prophet, Sniper and Drow Ranger can all be very powerful gankers with the shadow blade.
