GreatFrag now claims that the World Cyber Games has finally announced the catalog of competitive titles that are to be hosted in Kunshan, China at the end of the fall and beginning of winter. Of this announcement, the most notable edition is that the hugely popular sponsored title, League of Legends, will not be returning this year. Instead, Dota 2 will make its debut appearance at WCG 2012 as a primary title. In addition, its prequel Warcraft III mod, DotA, will appear as a promotional title for the leisure of the Chinese teams that have yet to make the transition.
I've read that this information wasn't received through an official source. However, I certainly do hope DotA gets picked up. Even vanilla DotA would be great!
