few questions for the release

What are the quests? How do they work? When will the few remaining heroes be released? I am really itching to play pretty much all of them based on their previous skills that I hope don't get changed. Just throwing it out there, but any guesses on release because there was a lot of speculation that it would leave beta after TI2

In my opinion, I think it will be released in December, also, making the heroes is easy, bug-fixing and such is hard, also DotA 2 needs waaaaay stronger servers, sometimes it laggs with only 100,000~ players on, so how could it hold all the millions that will come?

Quests? There was a quest once in DotA 1 to get to the hidden Phoenix and kill him, but it didn't work very well, so they removed that and added the hero Phoenix :P.

Do any of you know if there are going to be any other maps/modes in Dota 2? Kinda like ARAM or dominion in League of Legends.

I think you are right witht the december release. The quest thing still has me confused. I beleive it could be something optional and could be like the many random operations that Mass Effect 3 does with its online servers where everyone contributes to achieving a particular goal. But, instead of everyone participating it will be optional. If you participate in a quest and it is completed maybe bonus battle points or very rare items will be rewarded. Just a thought.

There will be All Random mode, also I'm almost sure they will re-add the old Only Mid option. About new maps, I'm not sure, I don't think so. DotA is DotA.
