Thread title.

So does DotA 2 run on dedicated servers like Battlefield and (IIRC) TF2 do? Because I'm a player from the SEA region, the Philippines to be exact, but I would like to eventually join a clan if possible when I get better (noob right now), but I'm pretty sure there are no SEA clans.

Plus, I'd also like a bigger search range when playing matchmaking.
