Compendium Question

I really wanted a compendium this year but alas, my parents aren't exactly "fans" of this whole gaming thing I've taken an interest in and so buying one isn't really an option. So I was looking for a trade, no one will probably want to accept but its worth a shot. First however, I wanted to know the rules of trading/gifting compendiums. I know that Valve often makes stupid trading/gifting restrictions so I wanted to know them. Why bother asking for a trade when you can't even trade it in the first place right?

Below is a competition on the Dota 2 subreddit where the kind chap is giving away 100 compendiums to those who do not currently have one. You just need to answer a couple of simple questions and provide your steam community profile link.

Thanks for this. I saw his previous post on how he wasn't going to do one but I guess he found enough support from the Reddit community. The odds aren't great but still better than nothing!

If anyone wanted to know what I was trading, it was the Mythical Cadenza Magic Master Invoker set. I just realized that it is worth like 10 cents so no one is trading a compendium for that LOL.
