Intrix and Shion

Child of Prophecy and her Guardian Angel

In a land plagued by disease and loss of a God comes a child destined to lead it's people to glory once again.
Intrix, the illegitimate daughter of Lord Altorr raised by a farmer in the valley of the bountiful was an outgoing child. However, the adults thought her eccentric as he spoke to the slivers of light that would come through the roof of certain homes she would go to, but she paid no heed to their concerns.

When she became old enough to help her father something only in Legends and Myths happened, before the old farmer's eyes rose an Angel appears within the golden streaks from the sun's light. Sworn to protect her until she is ready to return, to lead her people from the ashes of death and disease to a new era of rebirth and renaissance.

But until then she lays in the valley undisturbed, protected by the chosen soldier of light.







Concept
This hero is 2 heroes within one, explained more in their passive. They have a total of 8 abilities(2 Passives, 2 Self-casts, 1 Channel, 3 Target Point cast) and are very fairly complex.
It's pretty hard to balance this hero because I don't know what the line is between too broken or too useless, so feedback is welcome.

Shion can use the Gold Gate to bring Intrix to him or bring himself to Intrix. Target Intrix to bring her to him and target himself to bring himself to Intrix. Cannot be used to bring Intrix to Shion if she is affected by abilities that cancel blinks.

For a duration Intrix will grant Shion her divine powers. While Intrix is channeling, Shion is affected by the max potential of Healing Aura, Wings of Light and has increased attack speed.

Stats

This Hero is fairly complex, the hero works similar to lone druid but with two entirely separate toolkits which make it hard to control. Some things to clear up:
- When a skill is skilled, the other skill on the same slot is also leveled. (Healing Aura and Wings of light are skilled together)
- Shion does not have Inventory of his own, instead uses the Backpack of Intrix, making him unable to use active items.
- They both have separate stat gains and primary attributes.
- Experience Radius revolves around Shion ONLY.
- Separation range is 1200
- When either hero moves too far Inrix is silenced and Shion is disarmed
- If either hero dies, the other dies.

Now their Stats

Intrix
- Primary Attribute Int
- Slightly faster than Crystal Maiden
- Very Slow Base Attack Time and around 29 - 33 damage. Ranged
- Similar health pool to maiden and other supports. Maybe even slightly higher.
- Medium mana pool

Shion
- Primal Attribute Str
- Offlaner Speed 295 - 310ms
- Medium Base Attack Time and around 50 - 57 damage. Melee
- Similar health pool to Legion Commander, if not slightly less tanky.
- Small to Medium mana pool, similar to Juggernaut.

Playstyle

What can I say, because both parts of the hero specialize in a different role they can be played in a number of ways. Because the hero shares cooldowns on their active abilities you can only prioritize one thing on each part of the hero, whether it be Supporting or Coring capabilities.

Good in all stages of the game except the late game, Shion's attack speed scales well but the problem that he can't use items will be a massive detriment. However, his passive Wings of Light allow the Hero to farm relatively quickly and can make sure they stay relevant given enough farm and time.

A big threat to this hero's playstyle is the large fact that if you focus Intrix you pretty much kill the hero unless Golden Gate is readily available. A good chain stun will easily deal with the "support" of the two. You can simply however keep Intrix in the fog of war in the early parts of the game which is a good way to make sure she doesn't get focus, but this would mean Intrix doesn't benifit from the passive.

Roles

Core
Core Intrix and Shion is definitely possible, just make sure Intrix is NEVER at risk of death. A good combo between Empowering Burst, Smite Against Evil and Hope for Humanity can make Shion right click very well.

Laning phase Level 1 - 5 is pretty decent with a skill build of 1-3-1 or 1-2-2, Mid game should be relatively straightforward, left alone your E is a minor Radiance easily useful for farming. Solo pickoffs are pretty hard as Intrix and Shion have no hard disable, it will be reliant on allied heroes or a mistake from the enemy team.

Support
Support Intrix and Shion is much easier to manage, putting Shion in the sidelines simply as a means for escape alleviates the need for a Blink although a forcestaff is still very good for the hero. The Soft purge basically stops most heroes from killing your carry early on if used correctly. Shion can also be used to used to harass the enemy laners as long as he stays in Seperation range.

Laning phase 1-5 is solid and Shion can be used for pulling with a skill build of 3-1-1 or in some cases 1-3-1, Mid game fights are good for this hero as Damage Translocation guarantees minor survivability for Shion.

Micro is VERY important for either role to work out.

Summary

If you don't mind me saying, cut this hero a little bit of slack (Although feedback is appreciated) it was very hard to balance this and I understand it can be broken more ways than Sunday. But I can always improve on the idea and the general concept still stands.

What happens after that then? Are your two heroes immediately pulled back to each other, or are they now allowed to be apart so long as they don't go back within 1200 range?

So you mean a strong dispel?
Dude, please do your research when making suggestions. Soft purges don't exist as a term, so I immediately assumed it to be a basic dispel, which does not remove stuns.
That said, even if it was a hard dispel, it does not deserve a 30 second cooldown.
Again, research. If you did any then you'll note that Aphotic Shield and Press the Attack are both hard dispels, which does a lot more than a brief minor buff against damage.
And both of them have cooldowns which range from a little more than half of Protection of Evil's at level 1 (18 and 16), and scales down to 13 (3 with talent) seconds for Press the Attack and 6 seconds for Aphotic Shield.

Generally for new heroes it is better to overshoot than undershoot. Especially if they are complex. You get more data that way.
Hell, these heroes are not at all that complex.
You have 8 abilities, sure, but 2 of them are passives, and only 3 of them need targeting, 1 of those being a spell whose key you'd just double tap half the time while also sharing a cooldown with another spell for some reason. If you are channeling with Intrix's R, then you are pretty much just using 1 hero, one that would almost never use 2 of its activated abilities since using Shion's Q means you are either leaving the fight or putting Intrix in danger, and your R is pointless since Intrix should not be taking damage.
You cannot even argue for item active usage being complex, because Intrix needing to channel and Shion not being able to use item actives means that you have nothing on that front either.
The channel even takes out the need to carefully position to make use of their auras.
Actually, yeah, this hero really isn't complex at all because you took out pretty much everything that makes the use of multiple units complex.
You cannot have multiple units doing different things around the map like Naga, Chen, Lone Druid, Meepo, Arc Warden etc. because of the 1200 leash range.
You have barely any micromanagement due to how simple the skills are, the use of shared cooldowns, the lack of item actives for the one that doesn't have channeled abilities and how one of your abilities leaves you with a single melee hero who uses 1 ability every 18 seconds.

- Changed PFE cooldown to 12/9/7/6 instead of 30/25/20/15
- Changed PFE scaling duration to flat 4 seconds.
