Oh the old crybaby thing, most noobs call gg every min, nothin to worry about.

I only rec low skill heroes 1st as skill comes with time, if u give earth spirit to me or to a 1000 MMR guy, THERE WILL be a difference.

All those heros tend to rely on the enemy team being disorganized, especially riki. DK is a pretty good beginner hero as he rarely loses a solo mid lane and normally you dont get punished hard on him for making mistakes. KotL hasnt been in the meta raelly since PL fell off and he is rarely seen in pubs unless you face push.

Also, how do you call GG at min1? Giving up a few early kills hurts but its never a point to gg

basically what your saying is tell them all the op heroes like riki, death prophet, seven, juggernaut, bloodseeker, bounty hunter, broodmother, huskar, lina, wraith king, ursa, troll warlord, templar assassin, and the list goes on. These are all op heros beginners need to learn from these, but not go back to all these heroes as soon as brisback chen and faceless void does not work for them. The these heroes needs practice and may be hard to play. This is better than having 7 hard carry's that are all op, because that is wrecking the game as older and better players play with chen and Keeper of the light and get 2-4 hits by wraith king, ursa at the start near the runes or in lane then its a GG at 1min into the game

It depends entirely on their picks, All heroes have a lot of counters.

Just draft and adapt to any game.

My #1 Rule for picks is this: DO NOT PICK FIRST. If you can pick before the enemy, you open up a good counter for the team to pick against you.

IF they haven't picked anything, the most non-situational pick would be any hero with a disable or a silence.

My personal favourite non situational hero is Earth Spirit, solely because you can adapt with him to the situation from early game, literally, you can play support from level one and go to carry mid game and back to support at late game. He's just that versatile.

, doesn't take long to get used to aiming , then you've just got to get in the habit of timing to Purge Stuns as soon as they hit you, and Ult to survive dangerous situations.

He can do reasonably well in any Lane, is good at getting Kills early on, can dominate the Mid-Game, and Snowball into a fearsome Late-Game Carry.

He obviously has some counters, but I think a very solid hero is . He is not easy to kill at all, (especially once you get a BKB) and has a phenomenal stun along with an incredible ultimate, in addition to a nice AOE nuke and some built in armour/regen. he can be an absolute monster when he gets items, and has versatile builds. He can go in any lane most of the time as well.

It's really hard to find heroes with not many counters, but if you like snowballing mids that are doing something more than just damage and no stun/slow:

Queen of Pain - strong magic nukes and slow
Storm Spirit - very mobile, have long disable and both magical and physical damage
Ember Spirit - again very mobile, have nice disable on 2 people and deal very high physical damage
Legion Commander - easily win lanes thanks to Q, especially against melees, nice purge + heal that you actually can use on other people, good initiation if you have Blink Dagger and Black King Bar
Clockwerk - ultra strong and annoying against melee heroes, very good ganker, can kill nearly everyone at lvl 7
Death Prophet - don't have any stuns or slows, but have large and long silence + gets tower every time ulti is off cooldown
Invoker - he is really strong and annoying against everyone
Magnus - very nice when playing against people that don't know how to spread, generally auto win on lower mmr if your team is at least half brained
Tinker - hard to play, don't have any stun or slow, but he can defend towers for really long time and scales really well with items

I would suggest heroes with both magical and physical prowess.

Example early game Luna is threat with her nukes ,mid game her ulti can turn teamfights around, after that she scales into a monster with her passive glaives.

I would suggest heroes like troll pudge lifestealer juggernaut as they remain powerful throughout the game until the enemy team gets fed
