Even though vanguard build is outdated as you say, I don't understand its purpose it might have had back then. Its a defensive item with no stats, armor, dmg or att spd increase. I don't see why you should buy a vanguard unless your character is called Axe.

Awesome guide couple of first games went bad as i only watched items and skills but to next games I read whole thing and I carried them. Also should I keep treads in agility or strength?
