The idea behind Borrowed Time is, that people are not gonna hit you for 7 seconds. If you are hard hitting enemies for 7 seconds while the enemy can't stop you, that is a lot of damage. I would like to add in a BKB to that, so combine that 2 together with mask of madness and destroy people, as they can't do anything against you. They can't even run cuz you slow them down.
About Loda playing hard carry Abaddon, I highly doubt he does it in competitive games (well, unless their team already has enough points to win the tournament).
He did do it, not sure when and against who but I do remember watching it fail.
Anyone with sense might initially attack you, but no one...I repeat no one will be dumb enough to attack you for 7 full seconds.
As for you ignoring my advice eventually everyone will flame you for making ridiculous choices. Do not be the next Kyphoid, you will be a joke to the community, nothing more.
That's why I put the 3 builds in. For the ones who play Abaddon Carry, others Tank and others Support. And plus I am not the only on who plays Abaddon carry. Other players play him carry as well even pro player Loda. I've experienced Abaddon for years of playing and he kicks ***. I always say this and I will say it now. Those who never played Abaddon carry, say that he is a **** carry. It's like saying LOL is **** and DOTA is better or the other way around but never tried to play the game. I never played LOL, but I don't say that LOL isn't a good game. That's why 32 million players are playing it. See it's the same with Abaddon and with other heroes like Venomancer, Vengeful Spirit, etc.
First off, keep in mind that "tank" is not a role in Dota 2. You can call it a "utility" role since Urn, Drums and Vlad's provide many benefits to your team, but it's still a farming role so you're playing (semi-)carry as in the first build. Plus, you want to buy a Linken's straight after those items so you need even more farm.

Talking about carry Abaddon, he's not a "****" carry: he can't keep up with the other carries by any means (hence why people don't want to play him that way), but he can get easily fed and can tower dive thanks to the Aphotic Shield and Borrowed Time; most of the time you can use the Shield on an enemy instead of tower diving yourself, but it's like using Inner Vitality on yourself so it's a pretty normal thing. I myself prefer playing support Abaddon since, like Rubick and Nyx, he provides so much utility without items and with little levels (level 6 is enough for all of them), plus he can also survive teamfights with ease; playing a farming role is still fun but I wouldn't do that unless playing dual lanes/mid with a harder carry in my team.
About the Aghanim's Scepter. It's never **** if u know how to use your ulty. I know they won't hit me, sometimes they get carried of and than they hit you, but than realize it later that they have to stop. And to know to use your ulty not always wait for it self to activate, but in teamfighst just like Black King Bar. I remember a fight against Venom, Warlock, Gyro, and 2 others. They casted their ulties on me. Just before the spells do anything to me I activated Borrowed Time so all the spells they cast on me did nothing. Cause the ulty lasted 7 seconds. They couldn't hit me they ran. I got only 2 or 3 of them killed the others went back, that was near the The Dire Stronghold. And about the quote thing I forgot ZzZz.
The point is you are telling people wrong stuff. Abaddon is NOT a HARD carry.
He is a semi-carry.
A HARD carry is one who scales with items and game time and is scary as **** 35-50+ min into the game. These heroes usually have skills that scale well or provide a huge advantage. Examples - Void , AM , Dusa , Spectre.
I have played Abaddon a LOT. He is one of the main reasons I went from starting level games to pro within 2 years. He is the reason I played with some of the best players in all of my nation and that experience of playing with someone better than yourself really makes you better.
He is a fantastic semi-carry with awesome survivability and is one of the most fun heroes to play, yet he wont be my choice of a carry in a pro game. He is outclassed even by **** tier heroes like PA late game.
MoM provides him with everything he needs. Against a PA it is the worst item in the world. 2 crits and you are toast.
There are better carries out there and not lookin round and playing him as carry can cause your team to lose.
He is an incredible support. NEVER get soul ring on him as it is gotten as an early game item when you already have a miserable HP and it does nothing for your ultimate. I would personally work towards a euls when playing No. 4 support. Your Q also costs HP. Keep it in mind.
Aghanims Does nothing for Abaddon if you are playing against even half decent people. People know not to hit you. The amount spent on Aghanims can work towards better alternatives like even a SnY.
Lastly you should never have both Abaddon and Omni in one team. Too much level dependency on the both of them. I would rather prefer a better support for myself like an Ogre Magi who fills your gap of a disable and makes you ridiculously fast.
PS: You also end the qoute afterwards otherwise it looks like you are qouting someone else.
PPS: I just wrote this because you wanted constructive critism, your guides show a lack of understanding of basic game mechanics such as BAT and ROLES and you still need more experience to guide others to play better. There is no personal vendetta. Dont rage.

Guys, you don't necessarily need your skills to scale well to carry. His ult allows him to deal a lot of right click damage in that timespan, given that you have enough damage items, which is easy because you're one of the very few heroes that objectively benefit from Mask of Madness, meaning you do not have to focus on attack speed.
Doesn't mean Abaddon is a good hard carry though. He can carry, but he's better off not doing so. I would suggest tweaking the support build a lot, because as of now it's not exactly the best thing ever.

For me, I would build early like he would, then skip vlads but get instantly Mask of Madness, then Black King Bar, then Skull Basher, then Crystalys, then Aghanim's Scepter and then upgrade those 2 items into Daedalus and Abyssal Blade. The attack speed thanks to Mask of Madness should be high enough.

Starladder VII Grand Finals Game 1, just watched it last week.
He couldnt really do anything all game long, they lost all lanes, Na'Vi wrecked em.
Frankly to me the game was decided at the draft. It was Na'Vi's game to lose
