You're right about rejecting Halberd but try getting a radiance on Nyx as it will send your enemies running or time it with your stuns to deal alot of damage to the enemy also the blink dagger is almost unnecessary because the force staff can also act as a blink dagger instead and first item talisman is a very bad idea it's better if you get a quelling blade so you can pull off creep stacks and maximize the radius of your impale and creep farm effectively and items in the early game stage should be boots of speed and null talisman then then the staff then Arcane boots that way you can build both items faster and have a more effective way of getting mana for the creep pulling but under no circumstances should a Nyx Buy Damaging items exept Abyssal blade, the stun can make you even deadlier plus the damage bonus will make your vendetta deal enough damage to harass and hopefully kill any hero with a small HP pool like a Witch doctor also I recommend getting wards both the sentries and the observers to get rid of Pesky Invisibility capable heroes such as Riki and also shutting them down will take the load of your team

Thanks for the feedback Diocanato. I put the Force Staff in there, like you said, for assisting teammates rather than for a personal escape. And I am going to incorporate Orchid Malevolence into the guide when I get some extra time on my hands.

Good guide very well formatted.
One or two things just to notice:
I like building force staff in some case... But most of the time you don't need another escape. You can buy it against clock, axe, legion, mainly to help your teammates escape hard times.
If you want more mobility in order to land a better impale, better go for BLINK. You will become pretty untouchable. Spiked carapace + blink and you are safe.
Another non mentioned good item is the DIFFUSAL BLADE. Not only for stats or mana-burning or damage (they don't hurt btw) but for the 8 purges. Bye to omiknight, warlock, bane etc. You need to work for the team and that can grant assist to your carry.
ORCHID MALEVOLENCE is awesome in a lot of situation and is an easy build for nyx, as he often can't accumulate great amounts of money for long time.

Nice guide however I'd mention maybe adding in PMS because if you're in the solo offlane it an make you that bit more tanky.
Another item I love to build on Nyx is Orchid Malevolence because it can help stay in the game longer by amplifying your nukes along with removing supports from a fight.
I'd also like to see more of a description about the role within a team. I've seen many people not understand how to play him and it frustrates me. (One guy built Daedalus)

Poor Man's Shield as well as Orchid Malevolence would be good item additions. I will also write up a more detailed destricption of his team role when I get the chance.

You can of you are mid, but since he classified it as an offlane build it wouldnt make sense either.

Wraith band and null talismans sole purposes early on are more lasthitting damage in a 1v1 lane, but idealy you would want a poor mans shield with pulled tangos if you are in that situation.

That's true. Probably just standard Stout Shield, tango, salve, and branches.

I still think you should COMPLETELY remove the null talisman build, its serves no purpose, its the same as buying mantles as starting items on veno or luna. It doesnt do anything.
