I agree playing him as a support as he's intended, literally the perfect Mek carrier because he's so hard to take down. One big thing here is blade mail which can work against you, considering you want to pop your ultimate and get attacked to take attention away from your teammates and be able to continually heal and shield. Blade mail deters attacks which makes people focus someone else, which is counter productive considering Abaddon is a tanky support.

It does, but its more of a semi-carry build. My build focuses on making you the team support pillar rather than the one getting the kills. :)

Have you ever tried radiance on him? It works very well with him.
