@ Sando

The issue with getting Reaper's Scythe at 6 is that you don't have the mana capacity to use your ult and get off many uses of Death Pulse to finish them. While the bkb piercing stun is really strong, it's only 1.5 seconds and most people won't have bkb's at the time you have level 6. You also won't have much utility out of level 3 Death Pulse, level 1 Sadist, and level 1 Heartstopper Aura. That being said, getting RS at 6 could help you get easy kills against greedy enemies. The only issue is that this helps less and less the more the enemy knows about Necro. Still, I respect your ideas and thank you for looking at my guide.

Aghanim's Scepter is powerful on Necro but it shouldn't be considered core in my opinion. It's build up is relatively slow and its effect is only going to be used later in the game as people will be able to afford buyback/buyback will be more necessary as death time increases. I should probably add it to the items to consider section. Basically, what jamesShajam said. But thanks for checking out my guide.

@ jamesShajam

Thanks. Will add those soon.

Agh's is only good if they run a 4 protect 1 team, if they don't it really isn't much use.
I think you could add a Friends and foes section. Or maybe cover the jungling gimmick!

It's a good build, but no Aghanim's Scepter anywhere? The extra damage and everything is pretty cool, of course, but the biggest thing is being able to disable buyback on enemies in addition to the extended respawn timer you already give them. If your team barely wins a teamfight in the enemy base, their Faceless Void could just buyback and chrono you all before you get away for an ultra kill. If you have scepter, it's rax instead.

I do agree with Sando about having a point in Scythe, but that's just up to the player and how the lane is going. When I play Necro mid and I don't think I'm getting the kill, I'll just hold off on it for more sustain with Sadist. If I think I can bait the enemy close to my tower and kill them, I usually get Scythe as soon as I can.

Glad to see that you have Phase Boots! Best boots on Necro imo.

I don't completely disagree with the build, it's interesting. However, I would say having a point in Reaper's Scythe at 6 is probably worth taking - sure it's a little lacklustre, damage-wise, but it gives you a magic-immunity busting 1.5 second stun for not a lot of mana, and killing a hero gives you 10x regen on Sadist (e.g. at level 1 you'd be getting 20/10 regen), and anyone dying while under the stun of RS credits the kill to you.
