I'm gonna have to agree with that. Necronomicon is certainly good on him, but Lycan is a hard carry and he's good with everything.
Lycan isn't just a pushing hero like you said in your guide, he can function as a hard carry, and does it well, too. He should not be used for splitpushing alone when he's such a great team fighter.

Why not necrobook for lycan? 3 of his skills benefit necrobook summons, they get %dmg %asp flat damage and max ms from his abilities. Lycan can benefit of necrobook nore than rexx or any other hero in the game
...It is there.
Lycan is a hero killer. That is how he should always be played.
