I've just recently gotten into the whole moba craze lately after a ton of pressure from my friends. I started playing League of Legend's a few month's back, and am finding it rather enjoyable!
However, this is meant to give a new perspective on DotA, not League, so let's not lose focus.
I have to say, when I first started this game, I found it horribly confusing. Not because I wasn't familiar with the concept (League ensured that) but, there was just so much stuff going on at once. All the stuff in the shops, all the different buttons that you had to keep track of, all the different hero's you're expected to have a near-encyclopedic knowledge of... It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least.
I've only played two games so far, one as some fire using lady with boobs (can't remember her name), and Sniper. So far, don't like fire shooting boob lady, really really really like Sniper. He reminded me a lot of Tristana (who is my main in League, btw). I'll probably find myself playing LRCs once I get everything figured out, but in the mean time I still find myself constantly in a cluster**** of confusion.
Expect this to be updated semi-regularly, and also please post comments and suggestions!
I didn't play DotA 1. Just DotA 2. :v sorry maybe i thought that was obvious
Oh lol, I thought I read dota1 xD, my fail, anyway just wanted to say that you are kinda in luck there, I had to learn everything in the jungle that Garena had to offer, flamers, ragers, leavers and ****load of new players & bad ones as well, you're lucky learning in dota2 matchmaking, it's a lot better than garena lol.
Where are you playing dota1 btw ?
