good guide.
but i still want to know what you think about these heros;
- Lich : his skill "Chain Frost" can kill multiple hero easily
- Enigma : his skill combo "Midnight Pulse" and "Black Hole" is Super can kill anyone if they are caught in its area.
- Doom : his skill "Devour" can steal creaps ability . can be a good jungler and powerfull in many ways.
Lich is usually played as a pos. 5, meaning that he is the hard support. Enigma ranges around pos 3 - 4 so he is kind of a support as well. Doom usually goes for a utility approach by focusing on taking enemy heroes out of the fight instead of trying to deal dmg.
Where is Ember Spirit? He's one of my favourite hard carries with the Double Battlefury build. He should be in the hard carry category, the escape and the teamfighters one.
Guys...please don't get too caught up on the numbers at the bottom.
They're both out of date and somewhat inaccurate by design (for example, Anti-Mage is extremely good against Medusa, despite the lower number).
The point of the guide was to help inform your picks, and the mindset that goes with that - we'll all have our own opinions about who outcarries who late, but a lot depends on both the skill/luck/build of the players, their team compositions etc. Dota is not played in isolation.
I would like to spend more time updating these old guides, but time is at a premium for me at present. If I don't update them at all, they disappear from the list after 48 weeks - would you rather have them a little old, but visible, or not visible at all?
This guide is/was vernice but i think, when it get an update, then it should be complete. I. e. Void isnt anymore an hard carry and dont have a 10 in late game. And WK, Sven and Ember should be more than 8 because there skills scales well in late. So an Jugger should have more than 5 and so on.
In my opinion it's better to update nothing than a little.
The guide is pretty old now, there have been some reasonably big nerfs/buffs on various heroes since the time of writing, but I think it's still helpful, even in just informing your mindset when picking.
Since there's a lot of questions about Terrorblade - where do you think he fits? I've given you the categories and you know the abilities of the hero?
Spoiler: Click to view
Terrorblade is primarily an illusion hero, and something of a hard carry. He generally needs farm and is very effective later on. Great split pusher. Fits in category of "illusion" hero, possibly "hard carry". I wouldn't say he fits any of the other descriptions as his laning presence is variable, poor strength gain and I'm not sure Sunder counts as an escape. Rating wise 9-10 I'd say.

With any orb he's incredibly powerful.

What about spectre? she should be an illusion hero, her ult spawns illusions, and hers are probably the strongest in the game.(if the target is alone)
Spec has a 10/10 right now.. look carefully :)
