To everyone saying eye of Skadi is a joke on meepo, the stat sharing makes it one of the best items to get on him. I usually go aghs > blink >mek if there's none on the team or skip it straight for the skadi.

First off, you should add AC since Vlad's and AC are the only two items that give armor to all your Meepos (they stack now!). Also, I was wondering if Desolator would be a viable option. What do you think? As long as your main Meepo attacks every 15 seconds, all your Meepos will do extra damage because of the negative armor. Good guide, thanks for sharing! :)

I agree on everything Lukson said: Vladmir's Offering slows down your core (Agh's and Blink) and is not compulsory for jungling as you have a pair of Tranquil Boots; the Mekansm gives good early survivability but, unless you're the only one who can build it, a quick Aghanim's Scepter is more beneficial.

The Scythe of Vyse is a good item that works wonders if used correctly: it's one of the four extensions I usually pick (the others being exclusively Eye of Skadi, Heart of Tarrasque and Assault Cuirass) and can be devastating if your initiation isn't enough to kill the enemy carry. I would also add the Assault Cuirass between the luxury items, as said before.

Personally, as a kinda normal meepo player, I never build vlads, the only reason to get it early, is it's armor bonus, lifesteal and damage bonus are not that significant actually, and there should be someone else lategame to build it, can be a support.
Mek is also extremely situational. If you buy it to boost your meepos, a simple ultimate orb gives you 190 hp and also boosts other stats, also can be upgraded to skadi.
One good item to be mentioned is Scythe of Vyse, which offers really good disable against people who can escape you(like Storm Spirit) or someone who can shut you down and turn your kill attemp against you.
In my opinion, best option is to stack ultimate orbs after you get your aghanims and blink dagger untill you're out of space, then upgrade it to skadi, (maybe buy ethereal blade after 2 or even 1 orb). Its better to buy a skadi then a reaver + eaglesong.

Ethereal Blade By the time I've gotten to super-luxuries like this, I'd be doing more damage just auto-attacking with the Meepos than using this then Poofing all over them. Really drops off late game.

Divine Rapier I'd think Meepo is one of the worst Rapier holders, because the bonus only applies to one out of the five clones, and he's so easily killed if you stop paying close attention for any amount of time.

Eye of Skadi Is this even that useful on Meepo? I mean, once you land a single Earthbind you've got them enrooted indefinitely if you have all five clones, not to mention that Geostrike is a much better slow, and it stacks, and works on all the clones. It's good for stats, but there's much more efficient items out there.

Blink Dagger It's a good item on Meepo, but some advice for people who aren't good at blink-poofing: if you have no invis heroes on your team, you can substitute a Shadow Blade for the dagger. It also helps that your enemies won't often realize that only four poofed in, but five are there.

Good build and informative guide, but the items confuse me, but take what I say with a grain of salt, as I only have about 15 games of experience with Meepo.

As another Meepo player, and a guide-writer, Ethereal Blade is NOT a luxury item on Meepo. It's a CORE item. The blade is not bought for the interaction with Poof and other magical damage nukes alone, it's bought because it adds +40 Agility as well as the same amount of strength and intelligence as another Aghanim's Scepter. On an agility hero like Meepo, +40 Agility is the same as +40 damage. Unlike other agility heroes, Meepo magnifies this because the 40 agility carries over to the clones and thus you get five times the benefit from a single massive +agility item like this. For pure autoattack considerations, an ethereal blade on Meepo is more DPS than a Divine Rapier, and it doesn't feed the enemy a powerful item if/when you die.

Butterfly has the second-best +agility on an item in the game, but is a WORSE item on Meepo since it only gives +30 agility to the clones, and +30 damage on the main Meepo. Someone that only looks at that thinks it's good, but you're actually LOSING damage by buying butterfly over Eblade since each clone gets 10 less agility and thus 10 less damage, meaning a net loss of 20 damage overall. Not much in pure numbers, but since agility is also armor and attack speed...

Rapier is useless, and stupid for Meepo to consider buying in the first place. Pick it up if an enemy drops it and immediately send the main Meepo to your fountain. Once he's there and safe, suicide the other four so that the rapier drops in your fountain and the enemy has almost no chance of taking it back.

Eye of Skadi is an awesome late-game purchase on Meepo. Consider the math here, and realize that it is purchased as a dual survivability and damage item. Meepo doesn't need the move speed slow from the orb, but the attack slow helps. Then look at the stats, +25 all. That's +25 damage, +3 armor, and +whatever increased attack speed from agility alone. The point Booster may only benefit the main Meepo, but the +25 str propagates approximately 500 health to each clone. This can occasionally be the difference between surviving an Echo Slam or not. For pure survivability; a second HoT is better, but EoS effectively gives you a Reaver, Eaglesong, and Mystic Staff (or whatever the damn +25 int item is) in one item slot along with an attack speed slow on the main that stacks with Geostrike from the clones, effectively making the main Meepo's Geostrike just slightly better.

Yes you are right taht at that point you will be doing a lot of auto attack damage. But not that much. You will be doing (140*2*5 + 375)*1.4 = 2485 damage in 3 seconds when poofing 5 meepos on an ethereal target (375 is an estimate of the item nuke with 150 agility). And if that is another hard carry that relies solely on auto attack damage he will not be doing any damage for those three seconds. That's a huge amount of damage going in your favour.

It actually gives great stats form meepo. Though the slow is not needed when you have five meepos whacking away on the same target, this might not always be the case. And the 20% decreased attack speed for your target isn't bad either. I've yet to try this item myself but on paper it looks great.

Good guide, even though the Heart of Tarrasque only heals one Meepo, you should only get the Reaver and use the rest of the gold on something else.
Btw, add some colors and formatting to the guide, to make it more than just a wall of text.

So, let's discuss this thought of stopping at the reaver. Reaver gives 25 strength for 3200 gold a return of .78 strength points per 100 gold, not bad right. HoT... gives .72 strength per 100 gold(40 strength for the full heart)... and 300 HP(Yes only on the main meepo) and mad health regen(..again only on the main meepo), so is it worth getting the full HoT? Absolutely, since every meepo player that I know, including myself, has a control group set for the main meepo, and then one for the clones... many times you will be running for your life with most of the meepos... (oP Echo slam O_o).. and leaving one to try to body block the rest to safety... guess which meepo this will always be if you have a full HoT? Das right, the main man.. the man with the mech, the man with the blink dagger, and the man with the mad regen.. and the man with that 300 extra HP. Also lets not forget that meepo is never really strapped for cash... past lvl 6 that is, I mean come on.. its two-for-one tuesday all day with this cat... gettin' money. Only limitation is usually that pesky buy back timer >=(... Any who.. HoT--> Hellz ya.. andmatter of fact.. Make it two.. Dendi style.
