Then it's likely that the wiki is wrong because !Attacker (700 games of kunkka) always goes on about hitting the ranged creep because it is armour-less.

He goes hitting creeps for another reasons:

1)Armor and evasion are still valued on initial target, so you don't hit Dragon Knight or Phantom Assassin directly, but you do hit the creep so their armor is not counted.

2)If you get into, say, Lifestealer's face, and surprise hit, you are dead. If you get close to a hero with a strong silence while having Linken's disabled, you are dead. So creeps help keeping the distance.

3)Just as a habit. Hitting creeps often helps finiosh off low-hp targets, if you choose the right angle.

That's for me at least, maybe Attacker has something else on his mind(well, he sould have, because we build in a completely different ways).

And to my thinking, the confusion about how cleave works is because every hero affected in fact takes the same damage because cleave assumes they all have 0 armor.

I just looked it up on teh wiki. Apparently I'm wrong, cleave only takes your attack damage in consideration and not the damage actually dealt. Was a bit confused by the fact that Kunkka players always try to hit creeps and not heroes, thought it allowed them to cleave more damage.

Cleave damage is based on the damage you deal on your primary hit.
With armor reduction your primary hit deals more damage. So you cleave more.

Nope. It calculates damage for every target affected separately ignoring any armor values. Desolator and AC are useless on Kunkka and should never be taken(well, maybe AC will work 1% of the time purely for AS if you get Abyssal but it's a poor choice).

Who says desolator is not good item for him?
You ever try to use it in range creep? range creep has 0 armor which means if you blink and attack it, it gives -7 armor bonus damage to huge aoe + it gives 60 more damage, and alot better when slardar has amplified the range creep. blink and attack it and will surely annihilate all enemy in 1 hit

For your late game items you have the abyssal blade, but for "avoid these" items you have the skull basher... Should i only get abyssal if i have 6700 lying around?
